@@route2070 yeah ... that's the game. the EP was (obviously) filmed a month ago during the whole zned thing. that's why they're talking about company morale and leader solidarity. and why Miles didn't say why he didn't invite Keith and Zack to his party.
LOL Zach - Cut Copy. I can tell we're the same age and were in high school and college at the same time! "Lights and Music" came out my junior year of high school hahahaha.
OK I’m so happy y’all brought up Djo and also that y’all like the new album. The transition between “Is That All It Takes?” into “Go For It” is fucking sexy. If you liked that album, I’d recommend his other albums too. My fave songs are “Chateau (Feel Alright)” and “Change”
i know they obviously have to prerecord for many reasons but hearing them say “it’s almost october!” threw me off so much bc i’m trying to get used to it being november. i had to make sure this was actually the new pod😅😅😂
Doesn't look like You Can Sit With Us has its own channel yet, dang. I want to do the same thing. Wouldn't it be glorious if Ariel appeared unexpectedly, dumped spaghetti on the boys with silent determination and walked away without saying a word? I don't mean like they deserve punishment from her but more like they're her friends and would be more than willing to give her any kind of catharsis.
I freaked loved it when Zach explicitly asked for Jack’s consent to being recorded and Jack and everyone completely understood why. You are all amazing.
It's for metrics. If people only watch one of the three podcasts the algorithm will actually alert you less about updates to the channel. I don't think it matters for people who have their notifications set to all, but it can be a big deal for attracting a new audience and for those who subscribe and have it set to personalized.
Also, more subs. Reaching audiences outside of the try guys fandom. More monetization opportunities due to having more than one channel for all their podcasts.
I think it's great that the podcasts are getting their own channels. I think it'll definitely give them more opportunity for growth and greater reach to audiences who are interested.
@@sugarwitch6, thank you! You're right! I wasn't listening to myself as I typed. (Also hindered by my spell-check INSISTING that I meant to type "amore!)
Feel like we whizzed past Zach implying Sarah is not actually pregnant way too fast. I was listening whilst working and had to stop and laugh. I love a good conspiracy theory.
I would LOVE to see the rank king series take on different types of things like eggs. Also, I really like the non food items in this series. Perhaps ranking animals by bringing in a zoo to you service for him to meet them all then rank them, or having employees who want to bring in their pets for him to rank. I would also love to see Eugene rank fashion, something astrology related, social media, just anything really. Although it is always more fun to watch someone talk about things they are passionate about :)
Keith, when I did housekeeping (it was cottages and not hotels) we were allowed to keep any food as long as it wasn't opened. So someone may of enjoyed your cheese.
It's funny, in Italian we actually do have a word for a spaghetti-time, spaghettata, normally we eat the spaghetti at a spaghettata, but I could see it used like this.
I can't remember which pod(s) it was said in but there were one or two where miles mentioned that the algorithm favors all lower case titles, so he does it on purpose sometimes.
I know you commented this 8 months ago, but I'm just catching up on the pod now, and I wanted you to know you aren't the only one who had that reaction, lol. I thought they were talking about a sandwich too!
So....at least in my experience. My husband bought his "tux" but it was really a nice black suit and he rented the tux accessories. And no one at the wedding knew. The suit was $500...and he's worn it at least once a year since we got married 13 years ago.
in what world is italian wedding a minestrone with beans? 😂 minestrone HAS beans in it and is a tomato based broth with mixed veggies, noodles, kidney beans. italian wedding is small meatballs, orzo pasta, a chicken broth, and spinach. i’m a soup enthusiast 😂
I grew up in Los Angeles and now living and married to someone in Indiana. When I tell you they think ANY shirt with buttons is acceptable for a wedding.....I'm NOT lying. I've seen people wear polo shirts to a wedding and my first thought was, "Ya'll really don't even OWN fancy clothes out here, do ya?"
I’ve been to backwoods weddings. Camo. Camo everywhere. Men wearing camo shirts with the arms ripped off. The bride wearing a camo coat if it’s a little cooler than she expected.
This is the best advice that will go for miles segment ever. I laughed for the first time in weeks at yall shoobedoboping, followed by Miles not actually having anything to say 😂 bravo
This was hangs down my favourite advice that will go for miles theme song! It titillated my ear drums then I laughed heartily out loud when miles could not get a handle on the actual advice bit 😂
This is the most bizarre episode, I was like, why does it feel like everyone is secretly upset, not really at each other, but sort of a little bit at each other. Like getting increasingly annoyed with someone you really like as a person and you know why they’re acting annoying and you understand, but it’s still slowly driving you up the wall. It’s especially weird since the last few episodes have been so relaxed and fun and enjoyably chaotic. Realizing when this was recorded makes that make a LOT more sense…I’m guessing that sponsorship deals meant they had to put this out because otherwise, this is probably one that would have been better pushed to the “never released” pile.
Talking about being over or under dressed for a wedding, I went to one with a button down shirt, tie, and a suit jacket, where some people said I was over dressed since I wasn't in the wedding party. Apparently in rural Nebraska, the play is button down shirt and good pair of jeans.
Omg I relate to this!! When I was younger we went to a wedding of some relatives in Nebraska. We all wore dresses and my dad a suit. Even the groom was wearing jeans and cowboy boots. The only one dressed up was the bride and us. Also the bride had cowboy boots on under her dress lol
My whole family is from rural Iowa and Nebraska and im always the overdressed person at every wedding, i just cant force myself to wear jeans to an event like that😂
It cost an Armani leg? That sounds Vera expensive. Givenchy that you have a lot of options, can't wait to see what you Choo-se. I'll be sure not to change the Chanel.
I fell asleep while listening to the podcast (not because it was boring but because I have a newborn). I woke up vividly remembering a dream about seeing the entire Try Guys crew at a Dodgers baseball game “to boost company morale” while Miles and Maggie went to a Harry Styles concert instead. I woke up very confused. After listening to the podcast again, it all makes sense now. 😳
I’m only 10 minutes in and just wanted to add that a “Harry” could also be a “Henry,” like Prince Harry is. 🙂 But also I think Harry Styles’ real first name is really Harry lol
tried to wrap my head around when Miles said "I lost the TryPod to the iPod". was wondering how he could lose the TryPod (podcast) to his iPod. So TryPod, has trump my recollection of the word Tripod.
As a formal hotel housekeeper we were always aloud to take perishable items after checkout so that cheese was eaten. It happened so often when I signed up for the job the manager had listed it as one of the perks when she talked about the job. Lost and found is kept for thirty days but not thrown out. It's usually divvied up amongst the staff. You find some really cool as well as super weird things sometimes. My current Christmas tree I use every year came from a motel room.
