hi! i got an offer from york for bsc psych , but im an international student so the price is quite daunting.. would you say the tuition is worth it?

Hii , Rajesh this side Actually I got offers from university of york and sussex now i am confused since in sussex I found modules are good where as in york I found strong network and top ranked university so can help me out to choose which university

hi i don’t know about sussex but i know york is an amazing city with so much to offer, the uni is lovely and very supportive with great courses too - overall couldn’t recommend it more!!

Hi, I recently got an offer at University of york and I heard from few students that the city is quite boring. Is that the case and do you happen to know if there are jobs for international students? And also does the city have any luxury retail shops? Since I have experience in that I could easily apply for part time there

Hi! I wouldn't say it's boring at all - there is so much to do and such a wide array of shops, restaurants, cafes etc. There are definitely jobs for international students - hospitality and retail is always hiring and definitely would have space for you there! There's luxury shops more specifically at the designer outlet just outside of the city, if nor there's loads of shops inside the city like I said that are always looking for more workers - hope that helps :)

I got an offer from the interactive media department at York University and I'm thinking with Newcastle Sheffield Kingston. I have a lot of questions, are you satisfied with the quality of the lecture and seminars? Is there a lot of racism? And can you recommend a dormitory?

i honestly couldn’t recommend it more - the lectures and seminars or tutorials are great, lots of really enthusiastic professors and interactive groups, ive not heard of any racism issues if anything people are really caring about everyone, i recommend east campus the most - i was in goodricke so can say that personally but any on east are great, if not then vanbrugh on west is apparently very good too

thank you! i honestly love it - there's such a mixture for everyone, from the proper 'club' kinda clubs, through to one's which are more like old sing song music plus theres loads of pubs and bars which are really nice if you want to go out but not clubbing!
