@@V1VISECT6The ZZ-II in later games was based on a prototype that was actually built, hence why it looks substantially different from the original. The ZZ-III never materialized in any way, but its design (probably) inspired the ASL Garaiya.
And also dont forget the Spec II Mod that brought back all 178 Online Seasonal Events, all 34 Gran Turismo 4 Driving Missions, adding 3 new race series like Gornegrat League, Midnight Racers, Freshman Cup, and bonus User Created Tracks that are fully raceable including SS ROUTE VMAX Track.
The Delta Wing actually became so good towards the end of its lifespan that it was ruled 'unfair' to other competitors, hence the regulation changes. It was a very cool platform and it's sad that it wasn't developed / raced any further.
@@Cayden_Thompsonyep. On Update 1.07. The normal 1.00 version of Gran Turismo 6 doesnt have Deltawing, Ayrton Senna cars, Red Bull X2014 cars and bonus events like Sierra Time Rally and Red Bull X Challenge 2014 events.
17:14 - As a Ridge Racer fan, there is a car that absolutely looks like that, it's called the Terazzi Utopia, it first debuted on Ridge Racer Type 4 and based on the design, it looks strikingly the same as the DeltaWing.
Honestly didn’t think at first of how the C-Spec MX-5 Miata looks somewhat of a 996 Porsche because of it’s headlights. Now I can see it a little mostly due to comments on it’s looks.
Now that I have thought of it, the Tajima Monster Sport entries (the SX-4 and the E-Runner) were unique to GT6 and were not featured in any other title.
I know you said you can't go through all the special cars, but I'm surprised you left out the Tigra Ice Rally Car from GT2. To my knowledge, its only ever been in GT2. No other racing game ever has/had featured that car. Cheers for the video! :)
Or the 180 hks drag edition, and the r32 hks drag edition, r34 blitz skyline with under-glow, pajero rally raid car, auto union v16 type c streamline, so many good and quirky cars never made a comeback and its a shame to be honest, but hey at least we have all the utterly useless vision GT cars, nothing like a 2600hp car that sticks to the track better than a tramps bogy to really step up the realism
@@wildannandawicaksana5004 its a shame PD didn’t develop the last vegas drag strip after GT4 so many online players want to drag race and yet nothing to help or enable players to drag race, same with drift events, loads of players want to drift but only free mode on tracks and no points to score.
fun video! the DeltaWing has some fascinating history, starting out as a concept design for the next generation IndyCar, and then being helped to racing fruition with the help of Don Panoz
nice video, in gt2 there are many other unicorns, like the road version of the nissan r390, but the one from 1997, not the one from 98 which is the one that appears in almost all the grand tourers, there is also the TOM'S Angel t01, the only one own car produced by this tunning brand
I remember having a gameshark years ago with Gran Turismo 3 and spending time on GTPlanet, was much fun buying a Jaguar XJ220, using the cheat to unlock the car, then go to the dealership to finish buying upgrades. Was a bit easier than doing the Porsche 911.
The JLOC Diablo is in the US version's data but you need to use a save editor to be able to access it. Doing the same in the PAL version will give you all the car's data... Except for the body. It will automatically assign the body of a Daihatsu Mira to it.
nike was actually going to make a sequel to the one in gt6 under the vision gt project named the nike two vgt, but the car has been indefinitely delayed ever since 2013 and can be seen in the "coming soon" section at the bottom of the gt website's vision gt page along with several other delayed cars a couple other indefinitely delayed vgt cars like the lamborghini and italdesign vgts have finally arrived to the gt series in gt7 so theres a small chance the nike two might come to the gt series one day
Fiat Cinquecento Sporting and Seicento Sporting. The only time they appeared was in GT2 and as far as i know it was the only game that featured them. Actualy the Cinquecento Sporting is my real life car and its the second one. I had a yellow Seicento Sporting too back in 2017.
Actually, the Diablo GT-1 were not entirely manufactured by Lamborghini themselves, they subcontracted a preparation specialist called Signes Advanced Technology based in the south of France, but due to the financial difficulties Lamborghini had at this time, only two car could have been sent to SAT to be modified, one became the race car we all know and the other became a highly modified road car for homologation purpose painted in yellow and without the rear wing. But as we all know, Lambo killed the project…
The time and effort you put into this is phenomenal! Love the "old timey" section in particular! I'm working on GT7 now & had long wondered why on the anniversary of the game some of the cars like the Chrysler Phaeton were never seen again. But in real life there's a VW Phaeton? Go figure. But anyway great video!
Deltawing 2012 and 2013 cars currently only appeared it ONE GRAN TURISMO Game and it only came after several update packs! It maybe has 345bhp but it has 664PP.
The engineering behind the Delta Wing is astounding and very clever. I think it will go down in history as innovative as the fan car or the 6 wheel Tytrell Formula One car.
For me, is the 1997 Suzuki alto works special edition, it's slow but I loved the way it looks and just love to drive around with it and I remember that car from only GT2
The name Yaris actually derives from two words, one is Charis which is Greek goddesses of charm, beauty and other is german word Ya, which means Yea. As a proud owner of one, I can tell you that the name is very fitting. 😊
Wait so someone actually made a cool version of the miata besides the Corvette C2 rebody that was made by the same people who made clarkson's Chandelier car, cool, also you forgot the Dodge Copperhead concept car, this really cool car that could have made a good midrange between a vette and a viper that the plymouth prowler just never was thanks to its poor luggage space, and underpowered automatic V6 that just didnt really suit the design of the car which was in GT2 back in the day
I would argue the 1st gen Neon RT in GT2 would qualify. I don't think another 1st generation RT was ever in another game. The standard neon was in games like need for speed underground 1, but otherwise exclusive to GT2
Il be sure to be driving around in my daihatsu opti beex knowing it was featured in only 2 games Gran turismo 2 and sega GT No other games..... including mods
They slapped the Yaris name on a Mazda 2 for the last few years in America, but the actual Toyota developed Yaris ended sales here in 2018, prior to the current gen model's debut in 2020 and the Mazda 2 based Yaris ended production in 2020 as well, so no more Yaris in the US or Canada 😑
2:00 JLG just posted a video with Chip Foose and the Prowler, which he apparently designed. Idk where you got your information. And talking about Jay, why isn't his tank car on this list?
I wish Polyphony would bring back Venturi. It's been more than 20 years and this brand still hasn't been featured in another "mainstream" racing game other than GT2.
I used mods for Duckstation by CookiePLMonster to get it running at 60fps (since that's actually leftover code from the first game), and other things like a slight increase to draw distance. Those require tweaking settings in the emulator to basically make it a developer PS1 (more memory) with other amenities like faster CD seek times for faster loading. And perspective correction so there's minimal warping
The Lamborghini Countach is super underrated in GT7. The 88 model has tons of grip and the 74 model handles like its dancing. Also you can get gt7 for ps4 and play online with ps5 players.
so i once had a pair of unicorn cars for many years, but not anymore. There was a game called Sega GT 2002, and that game had a few cars in it that were exclusive to that game i think. they were the mazda cosmo, and the dome zero. this was in 2002 and i only just saw both of them again in Forza Motorsport........
The Cerbera Speed 12 is arguably still the most extreme supercar ever built. Power to weight ratio of basically 1:1, around 1000hp for 1000kg. And most important, no driving aids whatsoever, it's all mechanical! Almost anyone basically can drive these modern hypercars with all the aids, the Cerbera is a completely different beast.
Kudos to GT6 and the '70 Mazda RX500. As far as I know (I have played 3-6, to hell with 7), this Mazda, this utter joy to drive with the hypnotic exhaust note as its revs accelerate close to redline, only appears in GT6. I would be happy to stand corrected! Oh, and does 7 ever consider bringing back the Tommykairas?
Apparently there is a chance the DeltaWing appearing in any of the Forza games, as it's file being leaked a long ago, so hopefully we got to see it in more new games if it ever makes it there Also the Autozam known as a Suzuki Cara
I was always sad that the 1996 Honda Accord SiR Wagon was only in GT1 & 2 and never came back. I did however get extremely lucky and find my 1994 Honda Accord Wagon in real life back in 2019 so for me it did technically come back.
