The initial checkout of a Uniden 2.4 GHz digital cordless phone model DMX776. One of Uniden's less-common models from the era. It is quite fully-featured.
Good initial checkout video bro on the Uniden model DMX776 2.4 GHz Digital cordless telephone it has a sliding keyboard there were not many of these Uniden telephones around because they're getting rare I enjoyed the video

The Backlight Color Option Also Makes A Appearance On The LG VX4400 The Backlight Color Changes The Color Of The External LCD (also known as the outer screen)
I think the ringtones you were recording were not long enough, and I would guess volume is just scrolling up or down while it's on and no other menu is open, that's how it usually is. The speaker appears like a combination of bad connection and pressure on it, it's in such a tight location. I really like the RGB backlight, that would have been pretty futuristic back then, and I also like the visual ringers a lot.
@Xyspade That could be, I'll have to try again. I was attempting to scroll up and down while on the call, but it seemed to open a different option. The buttons on this phone are very small and hard to use, perhaps I was just pressing it wrong. There are a few features on this one that really would have put it ahead of it's time. I wasn't expecting it to be so customizable, can't think of another phone where the backlight color can be changed.
In my opinion, D3280/3288 handsets are also cell phone-like because they're very thin and slim. Scrolling up and down should change the volume. Panasonic says Base no power, AT&T/VTech says Out of range OR no pwr at base.
