This looks to be the first one you checked out twice. You checked out one with a similar failed handset in 2018, most likely this exact one. I guess that’s what happens when one has a lot of phones!

Very neat uniden 900 MHZ telephone. I like the ringtone on the handset too!!

Is the failed handset the same one that was used as a parts handset in the EXI8966 repair back in 2017?

Pretty sure I used to sell that phone. I believe it went for an easy $119.99, or perhaps it was $119.98 back in those days, until retailers stole the extra cent. The feature on that I actually did like was the battery compartment in the base. I don't remember if this one had the capability, but there were a couple phones we sold where the battery in the base could run it during a power outage. People seemed to like that idea. Chances were very good that by the time a power outage occurred, that battery would have gone dead.
