Technically what you played first was still the Unification Campaign (it still has the new units and such), it just wasnt the Expanded Campaign, which is indeed a seperate addon. The reason for the seperation for those curious is mostly backend stuff, and also so both the Main version of Unification and the Campaign addon can be developed on different schedules. That way you don't have to wait for a new main Uni version for a new version of the Campaign Addon. All that aside, A good choice of faction. Chaos is, after all, the only true answer.
@@stacybutler5713 Keep in mind this comment is over a year old. The Expanded Campaign is in the process of being updated for 7.0, and the 6.9 version will not work with it. Emperors Children is being added as a replacer for Chaos.
lmfao xD the edit at the start is just priceless🏆 It'll be interesting to hear your thoughts on the wargear selections, as you progress through the campaing, because each "build" for your ̶w̶a̶r̶l̶o̶r̶d̶ commander also reflects the playstyle you feel most comfortable with.
I love that we can all agree that Parmenian Heath has given us some form of PTSD. 😂 Hours upon hours lost to those dreaded lands. Even moreso if you decided to play Imperial Guard.
Man I love this mod so much but me and my friends keep having so many problems with it crashing and we can only play with 2 people in total. If we try to start a game on any gamemode with 3 or more people it just keeps crashing for someone. Wish this mod was more stable but man it is a blast when it works
you should bait out 5 defences in the early game to get 2 extra wargear, one at 3 won defences and 1 at 5 won defences, not auto resolve tho, has to be a defence
I installed everything but I don't seem to be getting more factions. Yes character models are different but campaign has no tyranids nor the new planet
How do i get the other races in my compaining? I only have the classic races but the mod is installed does it need update or something and how do i check?
gotta wait until 7.1 comes out sadly i cannot play campain unification on 7.0 and even on easy mode am not particualry good at the game i can survive for 1h but could never win
Not all of them, just 3 - Tyranids, Chaos Daemons and Ordo Malleus. You need to download the Unification Campaign add-on first, put it in your Soulstorm folder, then run it with the mod manager.
i like chaos. that's why during my own time with dawn of war series. i made a chaos army of a afternate where all Chaos warbands united under a banner of one 'Daemon Emperor of Chaos' Darth DaemonStar (which i a big fan of Erin hunter's warrior cat book series minded you) thus start of a new Unholy Legion Empire or you rather call it the Empire of Chaos undivided'
im so sad. After intense mental stress i managed to get the unification mod installed, but due to my noob knowledge of PC's idk how to fix the constant crashing. Then i tried to install the campaign mod but i couldn't even figure out how to do that... idk how to follow tutorials im completely PC useless LOL
At what point does it crash for you? Also to get the campaign add-on working just install the files and extract them to your Soulstorm folder. Use the Mod Manager to run it but make sure you have "Unification_campaign" selected in the list :)
