Unified with Paul Lukas and Chris Creamer. In this Ask Us Anything episode Paul and Chris quite simply just take your questions for the entire episode!
I am with you guys on the Tampa Bay green and black unis. Definitely their best. I am not even a fan of the team but I bought the hat. I never could find a road jersey though.
Great show! Been following the podcast now for about 5 weeks and it’s really a fantastic dynamic between the two of you. Hey Chris…still miss the daily MLB team uniform log even though I’m the only one who ever looked at it. 😉 Oh and 5 ★★★★ for the podcast. Cheers!
Coaches in suits but what about all coaches in team uniforms like in baseball. NBA coaches in sleeveless, hockey and football coaches full pads, that would be hilarious!
Regarding minor league teams mirroring the parent team's look and identity -- in the 70's the Salt Lake City Golden Eagles wore the same uniform design and colors as the parent California Golden Seals... right down to the white skates! I assume the directive came down from Charles O. Finley but it must have been a real pain in the butt for a minor league team to do this because there were no manufactured white skates - the team trainer had to paint them between games to cover up scuffs and the skates would get heavier as the season wore on!
Ohio State is going this route with the football stripe. The men's and women's basketball teams actually have the same uniforms as each other, featuring that stripe.
