A redneck shows his phone to a camera in his shed while an annoying electric fence unit ticks in the background, proceeding to dismantle the box the phone came in and scatter it across the ground
Cheers mate gotta try get info products like this out. I don't see any reason to try act fancy haha kinda gives a more realistic look at what the phone is put through too. I just chucked up another video about the phone if you're interested
About the only downside I can find is the aluminium sides. Phones really slippery so I've covered the sides with tennis racket grip and now it's brilliant. I'm used to the size of the phone now but it really is quite small compared to other people's phones. Mates with larger phones seem like they're using tablets and mates that have medium/small phones now seem like they have large phones. I don't have a computer or any other phone so this one does it all for me. Still not slowing down but there's very few apps, I was surprised though unihertz recently released a new update unlike most chinese owned companies. I've made myself a developer and have played around with the setup of this phone because I didn't like how it was originally set up but the thing that bugged me most was the app and back button being the other way around. Took me a while to figure that one out but it was buried in the settings
2 degrees haven't had a problem with towers. I'm in the waikato and there are a few dead zones and not too many towers here but it's been good for connection
It's also a touch home button but would be better if it was actually a physical button. I have no way of using this is a walkie talkie in my country as I can't pick up any signal from it
@@rusty8770 yeah sorry about the antennae be carwful ive seen alot of comments on the kickatarter about the phone not staying dry inside after being submerged in water. Other than that it's a beefy phone. Theres also a tiny version ( the original atom) from a while back. I use for hiking and cycling.. Takes a beating and keeps on working.
@@mattrodriguez5970 I haven't submerged this I usually try and avoid form one bad experience with an ip68 samsung that died. I've had it wet and water in the speakers the worst I l got was a foggy camera but all mint now
I had one and the screen result broken falling from 30cm height, very disapointed. Also phone has to be sent to china to repair for 60$, THEY DO NOT SELL SCREENS Service has result to be complete disaster.
Surprised yours broke from that. I've left the original screen protector on and it keeps falling out if my pocket when I get out of my ute after a long day of work. It's a lifted toyota hilux so it's about a meter drop straight into rough concrete. Happened about 5 or 6 times now and worst I've done is damaged the sim card tray
I only just updated a couple days aho but it seems pretty good, running fine and they seem to be trying to improve the setup quote a bit too. Its got the normal android apps menu back now
A working man OR an outdoors man wants a small phone which fits in his front pants pocket Those gargantuan 6 & 7 inch phones don't fit into any pocket PLUS they are too delicate to stand the strain of a work site or hunting trip. !
@@Oggyhilator Yeah but, does it slow down often at 450p or higher? How's the cell and wifi connection? Does bluetooth work on this thing? (Bluetooth didn't work on the non xl version.)
Runs the app without any lag. Definitely good sound quality he screen size might bother a lot of people but I'm not worried. Not sure about the different qualities because internet here is slow so I watch everything at 480p anyway and most of that is on a chromecast anyway.
