@Lich I don't think giving one's hair as a gift is a form of mental illness. Is it strange? Yes. But, I know there are a lot of people that do things like this. Some of it's culture. Others have their own reasons. Would I do it? No. But, I think it's reaching to claim it is a mental illness, all over someone giving their hair to their significant other to have a part of them. I don't think it's healthy how everyone is so quick to jump to the "they must have a mental illness," card over every little thing we find strange and different. I think that is a huge problem our society has, and why we are disconnected as a people more than ever before.
