I'm actively trying to join the local in my area, current journeyman rate is 47.12. Would be great if I could get in and the rates go up at the same pace. Would make my initial payout take less time to recover. I'm curious what do Forman make in your area? It's something I want to pursue.

Yeah sure looks good on paper. How about that insurance package for apprentices that don't get the same benefits yet? Still cobra pay? I was short 8 hours work one month and lost health coverage building a hospital and the IRS charged me thousands for it. Partly why any of this apprenticeship stuff aggravates me because they were very selective from what I experienced. Members have told me didn't you look at the coverage plan? They had no idea the school told us the hall is an entirely different package plan an entity that doesn't apply to us. How about your state? Now excuse my rantings while I take my weekly immune suppressant to control my spine inflammation from shouldering conduit for countless members over the years I WAS a dues paying member.
