Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 The Run From Omaha to the Twin Cities Volume 2 Boone To Mason City 

In this video we continue our chase of Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 as it runs from Boone to Mason City Iowa. On this section of the trip, the Big Boy leaves the old Chicago & Northwestern Main Line. Then turns North to run on the old Chicago Rock Island and Pacific's Spine Line to Mason City. While on the C&NW line in Ames Iowa, we see the Giant as it passes the old C&NW Passenger Station. Then in Nevada Iowa, we see the engine negotiate the connector tracks at it moves from the old C&NW Line to the Spine Line of the old Rock Island. Further on In Iowa Falls Iowa we visit Mills Tower, where the old Illinois Central now Canadian National crosses the old Rock Island now Union Pacific. We also get to see the big boy as it passes the Historic tower; to finish off the video we take a visit to the Famed Iowa Traction Railway Company, one of the few remaining Interurban Railway's still in existence. plus we also get to see the Iowa Trolley Park in nearby Clear Lakes Iowa.
