I agree. Exactly why I now work with one. A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their emotions, no offense. I remember some years back, during the covid-outbreak, I needed a good boost to stay afloat, hence researched for advisors and thankfully came across one with grit. As much as I wish Trump did better to image himself in a lot of ways,I also remember the Afghanistan withdrawl. Remember the service members that needlessly died due to inept leadership. No way Trump would've let american heros die for no reason. Maybe you see it differently, and in no way do i want to knock you, I seriously appreciate your service and im glad to have the opportunity to engage with you, But I cant see past actions. Too long have our politics been defined by image and reputation, not results.Call me crazy but I think Trump helped us, got slandered out of office, then we lost our gains in every metric because he 'said horrible' or 'disgusting' things. We live in a horrible and disgusting world, and a lot of the why lies in a world that constantly lies to itself how righteous it is so it can do nothing to change for the better. Quite simply if people stopped worrying about what he says, and maybe focus on what he does, I think everyone, and i mean everyone wins. If we stay on this course, maybe on side wins a little politically, but more likely than not no one is going to win. We all lose looking around why our perfect idealizations somehow couldnt manifest into actual policy, some concerted effort to do better.
