I watch a video that he started training at 13 years in Korea for this band.His a minor like me at that time and yet his grinding,working hard, training and sacrificing his teens years to be famous.He knows he is gifted and all he needs is hard work and perseverance to get what he wants.I only hope he is emotionally strong to handle all the pain he suffered before in order to be what he is now.Hope his friends and family support him unconditionally.

This boy is gifted! He is a professional racer, singer, dancer, model and actor.. and is etherially beautiful. He was diagnosed with myocarditis when he was younger, so it's even more impressive that he achieved all of this.
Yibo looked incredibly beautiful here, he’s such a sweet and pretty youngster. He could have become famous and popular sooner than now, fortunately he has finally arrived nonetheless. I wish for the best for him from now on, may he stay healthy and happy while pursuing his dreams.
RainMade creations Nah, his boy group Uniq had to stop functioning as a group because of some regulations in China in 2016; therefore he had to go solo and it took him so long till now to be really popular. Had the group remained as a group without those regulations in China, I think they would be much popular earlier than now as a team, and each of them might still have the chances to go into acting, getting endorsements and participating in variety shows etc while still doing their rounds of singing as a team, unlike their fate now. Each of them was young (Yibo the youngest was 17; with the oldest being 20) when they started out as a team in 2014; the oldest about 25 or 26 now and Yibo only became really popular last year when he’s already 22 (so practically a few years lost there!).

I think you think fame only means fame when your are top popular. Yibo is now very popular in china but that doesn't mean he wasn't famous its just he was very popular . He acted in some dramas before but he’s not well known as an actor, because his management agent did nothing to promote him in those dramas. If not for his regular role as a co-host in the variety show Day Day Up, he would probably ended up like his Uniq team leader Zhou Yi Xuan, who is still finding his way in the showbiz industry. His role in DDU had not made him famous or popular, just made him a little bit well known as a variety show co-host who could dance well and that might be why he became one of the teachers in the variety show Produce 101, teaching a group of girls how to dance. He did become better known because of that program, and after that he went in person for the audition for the role of LWJ in CQL and got the role. Some viewers didn’t even know that he started out as a member of a boy group trained in South Korea. Of course a few years into showbiz he had a steady fanbase of about 10million I think, not too bad but not that great either. It’s until he was famous as Lan Wang Ji in Chen Qing Ling that he had won himself many fans, with his Weibo fan numbers 34 over million, now that may be considered really popular imo.
