Cool to have nice overview over all the unique commanders, their abilities and improved skills. What a i like the most is the Thumbnail, you can get the Commanders + Backround for most, but not for Halsey or Yamamoto (even Sansonetti?), so Malta HAD to create his own version, speaking of going the extra mile for his videos.
Lmao, I did custom make the thumbnail in terms of Halsey, Yamamoto and Sansonetti :), that's why it might be a bit more saturated on the flags on those 3 :D
Günther Lütjens is also my favourite commander, I just like the fact that his talents are useful on all ship types and you pretty much always proc his talents, so I feel like I am always getting good usage from my investment into getting him.

Sansonetti has red shell tracers but a green flare. His tracers used to be tricolor, red white and green and thankfully they got rid of that really quickly. I wish the tracers were green, maybe we can get them to change it. Big fan!

The last tier 10 ranked season I decided to give the Hindenburg a try again (didn't like it after unlocking it months ago) and found myself loving how it is plays and the guns it so it might be time to give the ship a captain that can really synergize with the ship. It may take over Admiral Hipper for my fav ship in the game and I can transfer my rank 19 captain back down once I have Lutjens. I also play a lot of secondary premium BB's so Lutjens would transfer over very well.
You can get 2 floods using Conq, either by ramming 2 ppl (pretty much impossible) or dropping depth charges on subs (they will be back soon for testing on live server) it also helps that UK has one of the best ASW planes iirc.
im super curious, I am thinking about getting gunther lutjens for my schlieffen, because that special talent of 15% secondary reload booster, and I am wondering, do you get that for the entire game, or just some short time? and how long

Note about Cunningham and Flooding: Pretty much any BB can trigger this as long as there are enemy Submarines in the match. One drop from your ASW plane is almost guaranteed to Flood the enemy sub if you hit them! No torpedoes necessary!
Good vid. I've had them all for quite awhile and all "help". Would I trade some of them back for coal ships if I had the chance, probably not just for the fact that you only play a certain ship so often where as you can take that skipper and move him around to get the added benefits. Personal choice as stated. Thanks Knight.
i wonder what happens if someone gets 5 kills with yamamoto in harugumo. wouldnt that be crazy? i think its hard. i guess you have to fire 1.5k shells to get those kills, no? thats hard dude... pretty sure my excellent teams wont allow me to do that. maybe i need a div mate that dies to shima torps early...
Don't forget that you can get some kills with torps. Yep there is a long cooldown for them but you can send 12 fishes with 12km range that hits like a truck.
Getting Sansonetti is excessively hard/grindy. How many containers would it take on average to complete the collection? Does it matter if you use regular (coal) containers or premium ($) containers?
You use them on any ships?? I just got my first unique Commander, Lutjens. And I couldn't play him on my ships and I don't know why. I couldn't use him at all. What's the deal?
I agree, it’s really disappointing that they gave up on campaigns and locked the commanders behind coal. Not surprising given WG but still really annoying.
@@notaidan4451 tbf several of the commanders for coal were obtainable for Special resources with the release of a new tech line. It was only after some time did WG come back and make them available for coal for people who miss the event and such.
It's a reward for finishing the Resolute and Rapid collection. From port, go into the Armory and click the Containers icon. There you can purchase the R and R containers to complete your collection. To see how close you are to completing the collection, open the Profile menu and select Collections, then find R and R. Hope I wasn't being too simplistic. A ship or a Captain? A Captain in many ways is a new ship! Do you have a favorite ship that you play a-lot? Get a unique Captain for her! No regrets! I've got Jerzy Swirsky in my Oland because in tier ten battles it needs more help than does Oster or Halland: My point? Unique Captains are also great for lessor tier ships: My Oland is now a very unsuspecting and apt sleeper. People get overconfident against my seemingly weak Oland, they become lax, and die! (53% win rate &1800+ Ave XP). These Captains "are worth their weight in coal"!!!!! As. A new player having only 3 tier 5 ships for Dido tokens is tough!! How much max xp can you accumulate to get Gibraltar tokens!? 2000xp per ship? Someone help me out guys i really want Dido but spending 5000 gold just for Dido is maybe not worth it. Iam saving up my gold for Christmas gamble event. Anyway good video Maltese keep it up
i think with tier 5 ships and as a new player u wont get over 1200 xp at max and with 3 ships u wont make it ever. its better to get multiple tier 5 and do dd, cruiser and bb from 200xp up to 600 xp first. when u have 10 tier5s its already 20 points for each class, then u sell them and do the next class . dds are the cheapest , then cruiser , then bbs dont waste time and credits with cvs unless u own already some and know how to play. the 200xp i did in coop to not waste to much time but 600xp is to hard in coop, so u have to do them in random. tier 5 are easy to get and when u sell them u dont lose to much credits unlike with high tier ships. if u do this u get the 50 points in about 2 hours, hope this helps.

So i have 20 Gibraltar tokens with 5 tier 5 ships!(btw what's the max xp per ship you get i currently have 1200 but seen 2000 xp on RU-vid) But don't have many credits so can't really put your method to work! Also i think personal challenges repeat after 2 weeks so another 20 (if 1200xp is max). Also i see 2500 gold for 30tokens + stuff. I have 56,000coal,18k elite commander xp, 55k free xp and 4k gold so please recommend
@@aerynhellscythe3145 can u list me ur ships and how many credits u have and also go into ur inventory and look up all non mounted shipmodules and upgrades and eventually sell them and all unnecessary signals . u can go into ur inventory when u click in portview on ur username than u see in the list inventory , click on it and then u see all ur stuff in inventory.
@@horror11 i have wakatake, Clemson (saved for Langley),budyonny(sold kotovsky hated it),acasta(sold some inventory items like old upgrades), Kongo, pyotyr,defflinger with 2 222 000 credits . Ok got 80k more credit for selling defflinger old stock . But i see all good camos like lantern,spring sky, type59,new year ,stars and stripes, wows anniversary, cartographic etc and mostly good signals like basilisk,dragon,hydra,leviathan ,ouroboros etc so cant really touch camos and signals at the moment . I have Langley now but not confident enough to get to t6 .
@@aerynhellscythe3145 i would suggest sell all tier 4 and freexp 2 tier 5 dds and get the maximum points with them , in 10 days or se there will be a new round and u can do it all over again and get the needed 50 points for the dido.
complete off topic but did you notice WG's latest idiocy in trying us to link our social media with our Weegee Account? In Order to participate on the raffle for a t8 premium ship container you have to link your RU-vid-Profile. Next you have to write something about your fav ship on social media containing a specific Hashtag. Also write a Comment under the Giveaway-Video, naming your Social-Media Profile. By curiosity how many special captain do you guyz have? I have Sansonetti, Yamamoto, Gunther and final mission (50k Exp) to get Halsey Jr. Special Cpt for coal at 175k but only 10pts I found it a bit steep, I wish it at least 15 like Yamamoto and Halsey. After 10 to 15 is not so hard to grind though, higher get painful to reach, my max is still 19 :( Cheers Cpts
Why not bring Unique captains for the other nations? Perhaps Dasha could be a Unique Captain for all the nations? She could have different skills for each nation and give her skills that haven't been used. Better Dazzle Buffs, Heavy HE/SAP, Top Grade Gunner, Furious. Any of the ones that haven't been picked would be cool.
