What a fantastic livestream my brother! I love the beauty and dedication that goes into preparing meals like this. A wonderful experience for sure! Mahalo for sharing this.
The Shojin Ryori looked delicious and looked like an amazing experience. I am allergic to seafood, particularly shellfish and this would be a safe way for me to experience sushi, the vegetarian way. I realize that it may not be the same, but it would have to do in my case. Everything you tasted looked savory and delightful. Thank you, once again, for taking us along...Only in Japan experience.
Your comments at @ 20:42 are so true. I worked at a Japanese restaurant in California and my head chef was a Japanese man. Chef kiyokuni! It was my first experience into the finer side of dining and Japanese culinary arts. It’s a beautiful thing. Time consuming for preparation but once it’s done the plating and taste is well worth it!
37:30 so happy you met Chani Japan channel. It is always nice to see you make new Japan dwelling RU-vidr friends. Adding to your network. Who knows maybe you get to meet her in her part of the woods one day.
Japanese 🇯🇵 way of architecture-food design presentation and display cannot be matched by any Michelin western food standard 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🍱🍱🍱🍱😋😋😋😋😋😋
I loved watching this video on my phone. Tonight I want my husband to see it on our big screen television. We have stayed at several ryokans and always enjoyed the food and the in-room private onsen, usually in November. Let’s see if my husband would be interested in staying at a temple after seeing your video!!! He loves Japanese ryokan food so I hope this video tempts him to book the stay! Thank you for sharing… only in Japan!😊
We ate at a Buddhist restaurant in Kyoto. It was run by a older husband and wife. I was not sure what ever thing was but it was delicious. The gentleman would take the order thru Google translate and then tell his wife who was upstairs. We never saw her. He would bring the food down to us. The restaurant only sat about 18 people.
I noticed the other RU-vidr sitting next to you. Chani. Tours are great way to explore Japan with reasonable prices. Do you have a list of good tour guides?
🦋🌺🌈🌻❤️💯All the information that you provide, share with the public, is amazingly valuable, and a resource that is so important to know how things work around and to learn more about it is a most. I think a little bit of everything is always good, so keep it up! 💯 God🙌🏼 bless you 🙏🏼 and your wonderful family! Following you since 2014, and it's been a delightful and enjoyable experience, I love it!😊 Pa' lante siempre!❤️🌻🌈🌺🦋
T75 on the Henro! Love that you are there. Camping/tenting on the pilgrimage is not recommended... more respectful to the locals if pilgrims find accommodation.
Yes I would love to stay there. I suspect it is not cheap. I will be coming to Japan in November and that place is just what I am looking for. Do you need to book these places way in advance? Would not speaking Japanese make it impossible? I also want to visit Miyajima. Thanks for the interesting episode.
