Unique Meets Kanan | Raising Kanan Season 4 Theory 

*I know a lot of people in the comments are talking about Unique being Breezez but in my personal opinionI don't believe so. Unique was originally meant to be killed off. He wasn't even in the original season 4 plans. That tells us Unique is NOT Breeze or at least not originally intended to be. Could things change? Of course, its TV. However, I believe Unique is Unique and when Breeze comes in, we'll know who he is*

What I noticed is that people keep forgetting that at some point Unique is going to be considered legally dead. In terms of law enforcement, he will be declared dead. In his neighborhood("the streets") he will be assumed dead. His name wasn't carrying anymore weight in the streets anyway. With the exception of maybe a few trusted people, Unique is dead to the world. This will alow him to move undetected. He can literally be whoever he wants to be and use whatever name he wants. By being "dead" he can literally be invisible but still have his presence felt. Just like the br..... I'll let yall finish the rest! Lol 🤣

Stefano def took care of unique and told him about the drop spot, pernessa wasn’t going crazy like she did before so she def knew about unique being alive, he’s been in the shadows the whole time

Stefano was the only other person who knew about the meeting and the location. I think he was taking care of Unique and nursed him back to health. He was fond of Niq….so I’m not sure what that means for Raq and her operation. With those hard blows to his head I wonder if Niq will remember how much love he has for Raq? It’ll be interesting to see how it all plays out.

RK seasons 1-3 was about UNIQUE and him as the KING. Yes I know the show is centered around Kanan but multiple things can be true at once. That’s what gives a show LAYERS, It could be a build up possibility. Think about it, something happened to him every season and he prevailed. S1: he gets set up for a crime he didn’t do and he has to kill his best friend Trez. S2: he almost loses his life to the Italians and Worrell dies. S3: his brother came home from prison and tried to ruin everything for him and even attempted to kill him. He lost EVERYTHING. S4 is predict him to be A LOT more cut throat and ruthless. We haven’t seen Unique and Kanan have any interaction for ONE SCENE TOGETHER yet, I believe that’s on purpose.

I believe that Unique is aware that Ronnie tried to kill him. Unique's will to revenge his brother was his will to survive. I believe that Unique had been watching things from a far but he couldn't make his move because he was physically weak and didn't have a team. I believe that he knew that Kanan was working with Ronnie. Once word got out on the street that Ronnie tried to kill Raq, I think this is when Unique approached Kanan to get his help to take out Ronnie because he knew that Kanan would also want revenge.

It’s funny, when Unique “died “ I said his character was disposable because of the title of the show; but now that he’s back I DO believe that he has a big role in RAISING KANAN

Unique was the kind of gangster that Kanan would want to model himself after. The mix of smoothness, nice fashion, ruthless aggression, combat skills, focus. It’s about time the two meet.

I believe Unique is Breeze. Kanan is going to meet Ghost and Tommy and introduce them to Breeze. Breeze is going to teach Kanan, Ghost, and Tommy everything about the game. Remember in Power when Kanan said they knew Breeze's every move because he had the same M.O. everyday? That's because he's staying hidden. Maybe, because of his disfigurement, and maybe PTSD, and because he isn't "under the radar," he will be able to do a lot of dirt and not be a suspect because everyone thinks he's dead. That's my theory 🤷🏾‍♀️

Remember in Power, Tasha told Tariq about stash spots around the city with money, weapons, etc... my theory is Unique showed that to Kanan, Ghost, and Tommy. He had something set aside for situations like this when he had to get low. I think S4 will show more similarities of what Ghost, Kanan, and Tommy did in their show to bridge the connection bcuz they had to learn from someone

When unique does meet Kanan that’s gonna be wild I think he’s gonna be like a mentor to him in a way love the video Movie Bot stay motivated dream big 1 mill on the way

As I mention before, with Unique coming back which caught me off guard, I knew something was bound to happen. Yea unique aka breeze may have some issues as far as his thought process and how he move, but the fact that he even showed up there and might of even been watching and following them for a minute proves that his memory is not that fcked up and far gone.

There was a scene where kanan and unique seen each other when unique was at kanan's mom house when detective Howard took him there and while kanan and unique was going toward each other they ended that episode. So that showed us they had an interaction but never showed it on screen.

I think it’s VERY POSSIBLE that unique already spoke to kanan and he was the one who got him to kill Ronnie they might even show the backstory like the first and second episode of the new season if this is the path they take, the way unique walked up and looked was like he knew how things were gonna play out and maybe he was jus mad that he couldn’t look Ronnie eye to eye plus I know kanan killed Ronnie cuz he shot at his mom but he also don’t want nothing to do with her so he had to have had a plan to keep pushing weight and since he looked up to unique, it wouldn’t be so wild for kanan to do this for him especially after knowing what Ronnie did

I dont think unique is breeze my reason is because in the original power kanan told tariq that breeze wasn't smart and would always messed up what they got going on but stay watching jeopardy. I’m just glad my theory worked out. Kanan had Raq in a situation when she needed him and he handled Ronnie himself. Raq gonna have to take Kanan seriously now. But I don’t think she will and eventually everything will come back to bite Raq. I think Kanan will kill Raq by the end of the series and that’s the reason why he could kill his own son and cousin so effortlessly.

According to O.G. Kanan's narration, he admired and looked up to Unique. From a young Kanan's perspective, Unique was a ghetto superstar/role model. This will play a big part when Kanan and the NEW UNIQUE character begin to interact and Kanan possibly begins to work for him.

Good point about how the writers didn't have Kanan and Unique interact. over the course of the first three seasons. And the reason why not is because now is the time going into season four and beyond. It reminds me a bit of "A Bronx Tale" where as "C" was narrating the story he'd point out how Sonny would never make eye contact with him when he was a kid. How he'd observe the mob boss from afar and his dealings until the day that all changed and they'd be connected until the end for Sonny. So Sonny taught "C" the game as I expect for Unique or the soon to be "Breeze" will teach Kanan more of the ins and outs and establishing a connect. One other thing that never got addressed was how season two ended where Unique left the house accompanying Raq after she was shot and then Kanan showing up to the house with Detective Howard. So my guess is that Unique knows of a connection between them and Howard. Lastly, don't buy into this BS that Sascha Penn is putting out there about how there were no plans to bring Unique back after season three. What changed their minds? Uproar and demand from fans? PLEASE! If that were the case Ghost would've been brought back already in some form. It was always their intention to remove Unique and have him reborn as Breeze. Breeze we know now is not Ronnie, not Detective Howard, not Uncle Lou, not Marvin not D Wiz's brother, not Famous or some other new character who's going to come out of nowhere.

That’s exactly how I feel about Raising Kanan. I feel like this is the best show because of its realism which makes it miles ahead of Powerbook2. But they gone have to come with great writing to explain how Unique survived all this time. And the worse thing they can do is say he’s Breeze now. That would be terrible writing and it’s not what I expect them to do like all these Power FANS. It would go against everything this show has been building up. That’s what you call LAZY writing. People gotta stop thinking like FANS and more like writers and you would see that’s a horrible idea.
