In this video I will demonstrate a watercolor blow art painting of a tree.. With gold leaf paper! This unique technique has beautiful results and doesn't take long at all to create!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful tutorial ! I must say, as an Artist myself , recreating this tree with the golden leaves was a quite a challenge for me as a first -time user. the leaves were so thin and fragile . However , I am extremely happy with how the art turned out overall. Your tutorial was truly inspiring ♥
Do you use a sealant after the gold leaf has been placed and finished? If so which one? I was told by someone to use a sealant but I'm not sure which one to use.
I’ve been looking everywhere and I can’t find it.. I usually have everything saved but it must have been deleted somehow 🤔 I really like it too and would have wanted to use it again tho..
I just used a straw and blew the watercolour in the direction I wanted it to go. You have to use a lot of water. I didn’t water the paper before because I didn’t want the paint to spread. I hope that helped 😊
@@juliaoilarttutorials3257 Hi! I'm also working with gold leaf and I'm worried it will change colour after a while if I don't varnish/seal it. Wat is your experience with this?
I wish when people are making videos about using imitation gold leaf they'd say in the description that it's not "gold leaf" but imitation. When you're trawling around looking for instruction on the real thing, it's irritating to be led into a blind corner so often.
