I used this deck today at the LGS. At first, everyone was laughing at the 0 cost commander. Once I got Myth unbound and copy enchantment out, it was basically over for the rest. I was kindly told to never play that deck again.
I would use more copy effects that can copy enchantments and creatures because if you make a copy of your commander you can sacrifice the real one with the legend rule and then you have a free way to sacrifice it on etb as long as you have a copy on the battlefield already.
I’m new to the game. So, commander tax is 2 extra every time? Is that based on what you pay to cast it? So it’s 0, then 1, then 2. And not 0, then 1, then 3?
Everytime your commander is about to go to the command zone from the battlefield the next time you want to cast him you have to pay +2. If you already cast him one time with +2 you have to pay +4. Everytime your commander goes to the command zone and you want to cast him you have to pay an extra +2. If you have a 4 mana commander that died 2 times, the 3rd time you cast you will have to pay +6, in total 10 mana. Now, if an effect triggers and sents your commander to your hand, you cast him without the tax. If he die and went to the graveyard, you can choose to put him into the command zone or keep him in the graveyard. (You may play a graveyard deck so you will bring him back next turn) In general, effects may put your commander to your hand or grave. You can choose to keep him there or sent him to the command zone. If he goes to the command zone (let's say he got exiled), then you have to pay the tax.

Gotta be creative to be competitive at low $ value by also it needs to interesting enough for folks to watch. "A Voltron deck" with this guy might be decent but it's not particularly interesting
