I would think only the new growth would need to be buffed. All of the old nail length has been roughened for previous manicures, plus I would think the peel-off base coat, while gentle still probably removes microscopic portions of the nail surface. I wonder how long she is wearing her manicure before changing. Has she ever said how long it take to do one hand in real time? Her manicures are so meticulous and elaborate down to the last detail.

What is the liquid that you wiped off the sticky uncared gel with ? Is there silver glitter at 13:40 suspended in the gel polish that sticks to the nail? It is not clear in the picture whether it is powder or liquid. Thanks 🌺
