Bhedaghat is famous tourist place of Madhya Pradesh. It is a nice little town and a nagar panchayat in the famous Jabalpur district in Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated next to river Narmada and is 20 km from Jabalpur city. Tourist come to Bhedaghat because it is quite famous for the large marble rocks making a valley in which Narmada flows.
Bhedaghat is also famous for its street food. This ta shop called "Bewafa Chai Wala" is also quite famous. People come here in the evenings o have kullhad d tea, or tea served in earthen cups. Tis tea shop can be found in the car parking area of the ropeway (trolley) ticket counter next to Bhedaghat.
Bhedaghat is usually referred to as the Grand Canyon of India. You can see the outstanding beauty of marble rocks and their various glittering shapes and forms on either side of Narmada which flows through the gorge. Many dinosaur fossils have been discovered in the Bhedaghat-Lametghat area of Jabalpur.
