Yunha did try to cover it but I actually prefer the original version more. Sieun's opening and Yuri's only line was actually good. Even Yona's only line was also great in the original. And also I'm surprised how Seowon took over Elisia's 2nd chorus, and then Kotoko took over Eli's line with Yona from original version, since there's no problem keep it the same.
Elisia is the main vocal.. her job is to take the hard part of song, so that it will be stable, with power, with texture and nice to hear especially on the hard part, like the high notes.. and not because you are the main vocal you will get majority of the lines.. don't be a toxic fan, just chill..

And seowon had it! Main Vocal Seowon!! I would consider Elisia as Lead vocal as in this song. She got (i think) the 2nd hardest lines. Seowon still got the high note so... I still wish that Elisia would be the Main vocal since she express more emotion and vibrant. Still, this is just the first album and this won't define the positions (in vocal) in the group. But let this Main Vocal position for Seowon since her vocals are powerful!!
Them giving seowon the second chorus but that's originally elisia's is not sitting well with me considering they gave all same parts in dopamine and gave other members the remaining lines and mind you elisia is their main vocalist 🤧
Hey I came back and I take back what I wrote 😂 Yunha's intro has grown on me and I do love her voice, after listening to her sing live covers, I realized her vocal is quite underrated.
This song is absolutely my favorite in the album but after listening to the original version, I think I like the original version more. Both are great but I think the vocal synergy and line distribution is what I love more in the original version.

Halata naman at confirmed na si Seowon ang main vocal nila. Yung sinabi ni Elisia na main vocal siya, siguro pangpacify lang yun kasi alam nila na maraming fans gaya niyo yung mag-iinarte at maghahangad na si Elisia maging main vocal kahit mas deserve ni Seowon dahil Korean siya. Hindi naman 'yan sa kung sino pinakamagaling, saka totoo naman na mas magaling si Seowon kay Elisia, tignan niyo nga na sa UT ang high note lang naman ni Elisia dun e yung sa Whateva, ang yayabang niyo na. E si Seowon? Dopamine, Dream of Girls, Beautiful etc. At saka bago niyo pa ko sabihan na si Elisia yung piniling main vocal nung dalawang producer sa huli, halata naman scripted yun pangbait ng mga pilipino. Uto-uto naman kayo. Tama yung iba na wag na kayo magreklamo, kung gusto niyo na si Elisia at Gehlee ay dumami yung line/maging kapantay ng dami ng lines ng mga ibang members, e dapat magpetition kayo na ikick na sila sa UNIS tapos gumawa ng sariling group nila. Kala mo naman sisikat yang dalawa dahil lang sa talent saka ganda. Sus. Mga fake UNIS fans.

Its marketing strategy to have korean fans, if unis woudnt able to have korean fans then they would be castouted just like the other groups who focused on one member who isnt korean
To my opinion, I hoped that they kept the original tone of the song, for example: * at 0:42 the backing vocals kinda overshadowed Kotoko's voice unlike the UT version *The faded "oh" backgroung vocals at 0:53 seems out of place *The "nan" at 0:57 and 1:48 was better having that muffled filter like the original. *They removed the "nan" at 1:23 *The backing vocals again at 1:30 starting from Hyeonju to Kotoko's line sounds robotic which for me doesn't fit the songs vibe.
Actually that make sense. They need to highlight the other as well so for me it's okay for now since this is debut. I just hope on their comeback they make use of the Vocal Ace duos power. elysia and Seowoon combined. You see the potential in beautiful. They just need the right song to highlight it.

honestly, even though this ver of the song probably uses autotune more, the instrumentals give off a pretty different feel. in ut, it sounded more closed off and sorrow. this ver sounds like a conclusion of it, sounding more open and hopeful. i had a diff opinion before, the change they made on the instrumentals especially are definitely necessary
Is F&F forgetting Elis the main vocalist like i'm jot saying all of the parts with hard vocals should taken away from seowon. (Edit: i dont havt time to put more so another day ill edit this more)

I was hoping they'd re-record Seowon's highnote because that was always rough and the auto-tune they added was not very flattering to her voice, so sad they kept it 🥲
No hard feelings on line distribution here. It's still more polished than the original UT version, so that's good. This song is so iconic that I worry more on getting it's reach to more people rather than thinking about my bias member's parts
I dont know but Seowon's high note doesn't sound good, it doesn't have a pattern, she's just screaming and it's lacking emotion. I feel like Elisia and Yunha can do it better.
