Unison and Octave Intervals 

Unison and Octave. This is the twelfth and final part of the interval series. The Unison is the same note repeated in the same register (A-A). The Octave is the same note 12 semitones higher or lower (A-A different register). Memorize what each interval sounds like and looks like on the fretboard. Do this and your overall musicianship will improve substantially. Go try it out!
