Me and my wife flew on a Boeing 777-200 with a 3-4-3 Seating configuration to Oahu, Hawaii. It's was truly like a Bad Circus ride. The most uncomfortable, cramped up, lengthy Airliner trip that we have ever taken. Thumb down for United Airlines new changes.
That's a pre-merger Continental plane. You can tell by the pattern on the seats. Pre merger UA seats on this plane would either be 2-5-2, or 3-3-3 but with a lighter blue color without the checkered pattern.
Also, if you saw this in real life, you would notice that the sidewalls are light blue as opposed to the white on the PMUA. The bulkheads are also blue on all sides, unlike only one blue side on PMUA bulkheads. Another difference is that at least it has a decent business class, unlike PMUA, who apparently used "first class seats" as an excuse for their terribly aged business class
I've never been on the United Boeing 777-200LRs before and there are three seats on the left side, three seats in the middle and three seats on the right side.
I agree. I flew this 3 years ago and my first impression when boarding was that the cabin had a relaxing mood with the blue colors all over the walls and seats. IMO, it is a shame that the new cabin they advertise with the polaris seats lost that color scheme, in favor of the white walls and bulkheads, especially that they are retrofitting some 763s and 772s to the white Polaris interior without any mood lighting to make up for that color loss.
