Short flight review/experience onboard a United Airlines Boeing 777-200ER, flight UA 932 from Washington Dulles to Frankfurt am Main in Economy Plus.
I was initially hesitant to upload because I only have video content starting from mid-flight, but I realized that the IAD-FRA segment is quite scantily covered on RU-vid, particularly on United. Thus, I hope this video can provide an opportunity for people to see United's current offering on this route, and simultaneously enjoy some scenic air-to-air shots and views of Frankfurt Airport. Sucks when after an 10 plus hour flight that there's no jet way to disembark off a dirty plane you've been coup up in. At least it wasn't poring rain.

Thanks for this. Nice capture of landing sequence at FRA by the way. Absolutely nothing has changed on the United Economy service since I flew their 777-200 LHR to IAH in May 2011! Cramped seats, tiny ptv's, cr*ppy food (and you quote flying Economy Plus as well)! Add to this remote stands, and having to pick up and re-drop your hold luggage in the USA, non-sensical transfer connecting times at US airports to clear Immigration and transfer baggage, plus absolutely pre-historic trolley buses for transfer at IAD instead of gates ...... think I shall continue to give United a miss on future trans-atlantics for the time being. They are utter cr*p!

Not much idea I am afraid. Surprising, as both local incumbent at FRA Lufthansa, and United, are Star Alliance. I am guessing FRA gates get pretty filled up and are running at over capacity due to lack of terminal space (where LH are probably given priority), so a lot of flights are put on remote depending on when and what time of day they arrive. Sorry can't be more helpful - perhaps someone else can. Keep up the good video work. Cheers,
