Football is infested with hipsters and stat merchants that they rate players on numbers rather than the overall contribution to the game. Di Maria is a baller today. Yes his time at Manchester United didn't work out many as hoped but it doesn't change anything for his major roles in winning trophies throughout his career including the Champions League, Copa America and the World Cup. Then the same idiots claiming Ronaldinho is crazy to suggest the current Brazil team is trash and yet he was proven right after Uruguay knocked them out. Let's not forget about our fans overrate Bruno Fernandes as this player that can win us major honours while bashing Pogba as the bad guy and yet Pogba has a World Cup medal to his name and multiple Serie A titles and an Europa League title with while Bruno Fernandes has been more instrumental in two of our worst ever seasons and Sporting won two league titles since selling him to us. Football today is cancer thanks to people who don't watch and understand the game properly.
