The UK had survival knives for hundreds of years, and there was never a problem, until recently...when certain people came in.

They'll arrest a criminal for carrying a machete. When they go to court the judge will likely make them do a few hours community service. Then they'll arrest someone for shouting at a cop because he's tired of the shit government and the judge jails them for 2 years.

What do you suggest we should have done? I voted for people who didn't support this. I petitioned my MP's and the police and crime commisioners, filled out multiple consultations. No protests were organized but we would of had very little support and likely ended up in jail. At this point i am finding a way out of this country, but where to go? The only place really is the US and emigration to there from the UK is hard (still trying though). The guns were basically taken away before i was even a teenager, i have been waiting nearly two years for a shotgun license to be approved. We basically have a socialist government now, the country has never been worse in my lifetime.

We don't have a population of over 350 million, Scotland has only 5.3 million subjects ,but we had the worst knife crime in the EU razor gangs from the 60 turned into machete attacks in the 70s by the 80s and 90s people were walking around with jigsaw faces with all the slashing in the 90s.tjete wasn't a large pice force and people were living in terror. People were stabbing people for fun. Unknown to each other pointless violence. By the mid 90s really young people were being killed. They brought in "operation blade" stop and search . And by the end of the next year knife crime was down 70% . The people asked for those laws. In my town and other high knife crime areas thay started painting the streets with a knife and what age the person was. And there was a major cancer sectarian violence its not as bad now but usually someone gets killed when Rangers and celtic play each other in one part of the country, the Teams are from Glasgow but the hatred is nationwide.
