United Methodists Exit Now! 

All five churches in our parish have left the UMC, and all are now gaining in membership!

Our church just voted to stay. We're leaving. The one's leaving are the workers and givers. Most don't have a clue what is happening.

When a church abandons the Bible as the Word of God, it has left its reason for existence! The UMC use to have 11 million members in the US around 1970.

We refuse to say our Father/mother….thy Kindom come instead of Thy Kingdom come! We don’t want drag queens teaching our children! Jesus said, the only way to the Father is through me. UMC believes there are many ways to God. Me, I choose to follow Christ, not the world.

As a traditional Anglican and a conservative Presbyterian before that, I fully understand your sad but necessary struggle. May God give you strength in your fight as you stand for true-truth!

I grew up in attending the First United Methodist Church in McAllen Texas. It was overrun with freemasons. One of these freemasons, an OB/gyn took it upon himself to teach a sex ed class. Parents were not told of the material to be presented and my friends and i were to embarrassed/confused to tell our parents what was taking place. This was 1980. Nothing was biblically referenced. They had us touch each other's faces and say what we felt and one guy said, "makeup". They asked personal questions about any sexual activity and any masterbation practices and then shared the answers openly to the group. They referenced a story of a girl using a coke bottle because she didn't want her boyfriend to know she was a virgin. They showed slides on a projector of fully naked couples, including same-sex, engaged in all kinds of pornographic poses. Two years later my mom mentioned that my brother was in this "class" and was in tears about not wanting to go, but not explaining why. I immediately told her. I was shocked it was still taking place and she was disgusted by this prominent doctor's actions. I've done some research and have found that the Methodist Church was overly welcoming to the freemasons. They quietly used their prominence amd money to power over and destroy Wesley's beliefs and structure of the church. It is truly heartbreaking. Secret societies have no place in the church.

The UMC said they would live by the Book of Discipline. I feel that any church should be allowed to leave if they want to leave.

I grew up in the United Methodist Church. I grew up in one church and then when I went to college went to the local church there and about 7 years ago I left the United Methodists altogether and switched to the Christian Church. The United Methodist church is not heading in a good direction. The last church I attended had not so good preachers. Very self involved and not very Biblical. I also feel like the Methodist churches I have visited in my adult life have been EXTREMELY focused on John Wesley. I get that he founded the Methodist Church, but these places borderline worship John Wesley. Jesus is our Savior, not John Wesley. The church I grew up in is very unhappy with their current pastor and are considering leaving the conference. I pray they do. They’ve lost a lot of members because of this current pastor, my parents are still members there but don’t attend like they used to.

My Recommendation to all born again CHRISTAIN. Be a follower of Jesus Christ for ever. The denominations will unite with Satan after the coming of the Lord. The world wil hail Satan and the false peace

Great to hear a lobbyist from DC telling Christian folk what they ought to do. More separation in the Body of Christ. Remember the parable of the two praying men. He will move into a purer land.

Interesting the message has changed from leaving on the basis of par.2553 has gone from blessing same gender couples to "leave to save money, to pick you pastor, and to abandon Wesley's trust of church property."

Your intention is clear, you want to destroy UMC.

This man is as confused as the rest of the UMC. He gave three reasons to leave, none of which have anything to do with teaching the gospel faithfully or discipling others (our main charge from Christ). They all had to do with material issues and the UMC's own man made laws. The one thing that he did say that is correct is to leave. Bible believing Christians need to get away from the UMC as fast as possible.

Lies and misleading statements. While a clear and impressive speaker, it is clear that he does not understand what John Wesley created. While some of his statements have some truth, his conclusions and recommendations are not build on a firm foundation of facts.
