Day 11 of 12 - 2018 summer vacation! Part 2 IOC
The United States Olympic Complex in Colorado Springs is the flagship training center for the U.S. Olympic Committee and the Olympic Training Center programs. USA Swimming and USA Shooting have their national headquarters on complex. More than 15 other member organizations, as well as two international sports federations and the USOC headquarters are also located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The CSOTC is able to provide housing, dining, training facilities, recreational facilities and other services for more than 500 athletes and coaches at one time on the complex. Athletes are selected to train at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center by their respective National Governing Body.
Resident Sports
The Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center is home to sport facilities and support services for the following summer Olympic, Paralympic, Pan American and Parapan American sports:
Boxing
Cycling (Olympic and Paralympic)
Figure skating
Gymnastics
Paralympic Judo
Pentathlon
Shooting (Olympic and Paralympic)
Paralympic Swimming
Wrestling

I am actually in Castle Rock. My dad has colon cancer and was having surgery to remove it. Looks like he is cancer free!

I remember when Mary Lou Retton scored the perfect 10 (I realize I'm dating myself here.) and I dreamed of being in the Olympics...even though I wasn't super talented in any sport, LOL. Super cool training center!

This was SO interesting. My husband and I are both power lifters. So the fact that they can gauge how quickly and explosively they’re doing their weights is incredible to me! Looks like you guys are having a blast!

Hey brotha! First time checking out the channel and loving it. A lot of things in common and for sure a new sub. I am a bearded creator as well 👊 As a family man 👊 and I am actually a swim coach all year round. USA club (OLY in Michigan), summer swim, MS swim, and HS varsity water polo. I take swimmers out to the OTC every year in Colorado and absolutely love it! Excited to check out your earlier videos and keep up with the new ones!

That is quite a facility! Our dream is for a more accepting and inclusive world. We want to make people aware that the employment rate for people living with disabilities is only at about 20%. We would like to help change that and have fun doing it! ie....laugh more! 😉😄💕
