man.....should i be worried that everytime pulls his signature move, the "pull his pants down move"......he seems to be wearing the same undies hahahaha. BIG UPS TO MY BOYS FROM MOO!!!!!
Korea is going no were soon, money in it or not, I've lived over there in the early 90's and Japan. They are improving they are coming with foundation and their own unique originality. Being arrogantly naive, or arrogantly ignorant doesn't change that fact!
Nice. Wow style and complete bboying stands out so much when faced against bboys who are not fluent in bboying. You can really see the awkwardness in there dance and transitions. Mind 180 was looking good.
I don't understand why some people keep their attitude so defensively. There are a lot of factors bboying can pursue, and the goal of each bboy is depending on their own beliefs. You don't need to push your taste onto the others. Just showing yours, and it will touch them if it is really something. I'm a fan of MoO, and at the same time, I can see how Mind 180 is fluent and clean in their transitions and go nicely with music. Don't say 'they are not the US' best crew' in here. Show respect.
I thnk this is a big cop out. Talent will only get you so far. This is the same excuse that i hear in the school system about asians being better at math and school. It's not some unevenly distributed talent it's taking the time to cultivate and work on it whole heartily. I've met these guys in Korea and their training regiment is off the charts. I can only speak for the Korean crews i've met and trained with but a majority of the crews in Korea have a similar schedule and intensity.
yo loving the props Mind 180 be givin to pocket, can't deny his power haha. but seriously they held it down 3 v 4 all the way to the final, aint no joke!
Morning of Owl looks to supplant Jinjo as best Korean crew. Not sure why Mind 180 sent 3 'style heads' with essentially same look. They should have mixed it up more. Cuso and Keebz need to incorporate some new stuff into their skillsets
Really? I've been watching Morning of Owl battle since BOTY 2006. They always were good, maybe not the best back then, but that was 7 years ago when some of them were quite young and others were in the crew (and others not).
MoO is just dope, even without Pocket... as incredible as Pocket is... he does the same thing every battle ... I mean no one can duplicate it, so why not I guess.... but I much prefer watching the other guys of MoO (except when Issue forgets he's not in an All-Styles battle... lol). Missed in all this is how dope M180 was as well... great dancing Great to see the two crews really getting after it but still showing love. what can you say though... MoO is on top right now
MY GOD morning of owl is fuckin unstoppable this year. There a good example of why crews here in America need to pick up there game. In the last couple of years every member of that crew has improved to PRO level. Im an American belonging to a U.S crew and im almost confused as to how they get there crews so stacked in korea. Maybe its practice time, studios, who knows. All i know is of all the competitions Mo0 has entered ive only seen them lose 1-2 battles the entire year. Crew of the year IMO
Yeah MOO won this but gotta give props to Mind 180 too, they were giving props to MOO the entire battle, you would think that they were on their side, very humble, exactly what you'd expect from a veteran like Keebz. Great battle also.
The best US crews haven't gone up against MoO recently. MoO is one of Korea's best right now if not the best but put them up against a fully-manned Skill Methods for example and see what happens. Koreans spend a lot of time on routines compared to US crews because of their group-oriented culture. Different styles, but battles are ultimately about the dance, not showcases. By the way the scene is definitely on a slow decline in Korea. I lived there for two years so I would know. How about you?
