Evra is right. Mourinho always dreamed of Manchester United. He clashed with Every manager except Ferguson who he always idolised and he loved the institution. In his rio ferdinand interview he said that he almost cried when he came back at old Trafford as a sky pundit and the fans chanted his name ( meanwhile he gave chelsea 3 Pl titles snd they booed him when he came back . Some clubs have class some don't) I think going back at chelsea broke him . Even when he won the league he looked sad . He always wanted United . He cried after winning the Europa league against ajax and he got destroyed when he realised he couldn't succeed long term under those condition at united. I personally will always love Jose and what he did for the club . Can't wait for tomorrow
@@achmadhafidz3301 I'm obviously referring to this RU-vidr. He was making a living out of following football and THIS particular team throughout that time. It's incredible he didn't know Jose wanted the job. Everyone else did.
Wow Mark. I wonder if it's the same bias you and Ten Hag share? Amad doesn't deserve to start because he's played average with th sporadic starts he's get. Did you forget Rashford has been below average for almost a year and could only be arsed few matches this season. I dunno about you but I'd play Amad over Rashford because Id rather have a player who plays 6 out a 10 for 10 games in Amad than Rashford who plays a 7 outta 10 like 1 in 10 games or can only perform when one player marks him.
I actually don't think the scouting of United was bad a few years ago, the problem is, the preious structure didnt see the benefits to buying from South America and rather overspend on English talent
Mark asking if Real Madrid, Man City, Arsenal and other big clubs would give Eddie Howe the job but then when fans ask if these same clubs would keep ten hag in this current situation he ridicules for it saying we are not these clubs🤣🤣🤣
So according to you, you would go for the same type of Manager again but worse, that couldn't hack it at Chelsea, let alone at United. What Titles or Cups, did Eddie Howe win?😂😂
@@prashantjadhav5617 But still has won Titles as Pep has, although not as many and not the same Country, have you seen the nose dive Ajax has made, like City will do, after Pep.
Yes he is almost 19, 18 years and 8 months to be precise. Facts are important, but I do think he is old enough to go straight into the first team. I really like his long passing, it’s like having a young and hard working Pogba without the drama and covers the ground effortlessly.
Remember when we used to ignore the media, never had ex players talking shit on podcasts or sky, or a handful of ex managers throwing their two cents in every international break, we never listened to rival fans like their opinions mattered, and we would use the haters lies and endless clicks as fuel to rally behind together, as one force, UTD, against the world!! Mark I think you should host a show - "The UTD way" covering on all topics on what it takes to be a UTD player and a fan, because I feel some may need a reminder on what our morales as a club are! Love your tireless top quality work, keep it up
Mark thinking Garnacho will ever go to Real Madrid and displace Vini or Rodrygo, is why United have been unsuccessful in the last 12 years, there’s not a single player in our team who can even be mentioned in Real Madrid’s name🤣🤣🤣
We need conventional wingers to cross in for our strikers, until then we shall see the same scenario. This inverted wingers are partial strikers because they cut in and shoot. The striker gets eliminated from the equation.
Mark, united stand is under attack 😮 I live in canada and have been a Utd Stand follower almost since its inception. My concerns are that for the most recent months I have been hit with other utd followers/chat channels which is a pain in the butt. Born and raised 15 miles from old Trafford and have lived here for past 30+yrs. Love your program and most all members of your staff. Take care.
The hybrid position he had against Brentford worked and could be a way to bring the best out of him but most importantly dalot offered the overlap he misses from Shaw
@@swiftyyy870 they need to play the mature players. They can’t play the junior team every game. If you watch carefully they are shaping the team selection around what is optimum for the up and coming players. For now, they need to get the mature players adjusted to the new system (whether good or bad) and then slowly introduce the youth to it. Not create a system with young blood and just expect them to perform. Decision making is a real problem for the youngsters and grows with incremental experience. It takes time, and their bodies need time to mature. With the contracts it’s really hard to move players on. The legacy salaries are just too high. For me the two biggest issues are Antony and Casemiro. Rashford never really grew up, but I think he will. Everyone talks about Bruno but I don’t see him as a big problem. He just needs to get used to a system that doesn’t rely on him roaming and doesn’t rely on wonder moments or counter attacking. Give him time. All the rest of the old cohort will move but only when their contracts are up. But what I can say about Ericksen and Maguire is that they have professional mentality which has been sorely lacking. When Fergie managed it was much easier. The system was already there. The mentality was already there. So you could gradually introduce the youth without all the pressure.
@@wwpark I would agree with this but if they think that playing Bruno and Rashford is optimum the we are fucked. They need to be benched as punishment. Thats what we are lacking rutlessnes to motivate the players to perform well, they are sitting too comfortably thinking they can just get away with anything
Marcus should change his position to benches. There’s use for Marcus, but Amad is better on the right and Garnacho is better on the left. Marcus is better at running at defenders, but most defenders have figured him out long time ago. He’s better of the bench when everyone is tired.
30:57 you know it’s funny when you say “it’s the big barrier does he want to do that” what do you mean? He is Manchester united player and is a winger if manager wants him to do that he has to. This is another kind of player fc than we all have but couldn’t realize. Who cares what the player want? You have to do it for the badge. We don’t ask him to be a goalkeeper. We ask him to play at the right wing.
MARK YOU ARE WRONG FOR SAYING “ it’s ok for Man Utd to be looking for another manager when they have a manager” do you see other clubs doing that?? Just seem like you have a WIFE and then you are looking for another WIFE. When you are not divorced yet…..
Becks , giggs , coppell , kanchelskis , didn’t do too bad playing on the side that was their best foot , and weighed in with goals , the difference is class , most footballers are more athletic now but don’t possess the actual footballing capability of past players , garnacho looks good either side , rashford can only do one or the other depending on which side he plays and sulks most of the time on the right so we mostly accommodate him at amad or garnacho”s expense!
Zirkzee is yet another player who will not play his best game because of Bruno. Bruno is not good enough, yet he keeps the nr.10 shirt as if it was divine right. Eriksen is better there, but EtH and his favoritism ruined it.
Garnacho plays for Argentina but was born and raised in Spain and came from Madrid to ManUtd, so technically nothing to do with our south american recruitment I think
Didn't Alex meet with Pep for dinner in an American Restaurant and it went over Peps head/lost in translation the real purpose of the meeting. Sliding doors moment
Liverpool missed out on Alonso but slot was there second choice. Amorim had a meeting but slot was their choice over him and then Amorim flew to meet with west ham. And west ham chose a shit manager over him 😅
Agree with you on players leaving. We are not a destination club at the moment. So our best will always wish to leave. Important thing is to have a robust talent pipeline e
Let’s be honest guys what did saf really do for united he’s done accept it only eth would bring us back trust the process we can all see it so why are we complaining
Zirkzee is bad but his actually worse then a thought he was .. he is shocking , who ever bought him need sacking , this Dan ashworth if he is the one making these signings needs sacking with immediate effect
Mourinho was desperate to follow Fergie, he even had a clause in his contract to be allowed to leave Madrid, if Fergie retired, unheard of with Madrid.
Lol get a grip with this beating real madrid to yoro, real madrid was never in for him this summer and they forced him to leave this summer... He had no choice unless he wanted to waste a year away lol.
Nothing is wrong with vini being his inspiration... if rashford was showing pure killer instinct over an over he would say rashford is a big inspiration
Let's get real: this team barely can steal point(s) from it's opposition... At best, it can steal players that flopped or ones which are interchangeable in their teams.
Would prefer we don't. We almost stole Bellingham and haaland. Look where they are. If Manchester approach you, face the other way if you love your career.
ineos have succeeded in one thing, at least. they have made eth's position untenable. they have undermined him consistently. enjoy your £17 mil erik. you deserve it, after what the rat and his mates have put you through
Undermine him😂😂 This manager has been backed to the tune of 616m pounds. Erik has made his job untenable, only himself to blame. Should of sacked him in the summer
Sir Bobby was wrong not to let Jose in. Jose at that time wqs in his peak and actually wemt on to win the Prem with that Chelsea side within two seasons. Mark needs to stop being up legends arses as they are also human and make mistakes.
Literally getting on ur knees 4 Madrid, im not having this we need to b honest Madrid, Madrid, Pep Pep. I say it with chest we r equal to Madrid legacy wise, it's just GLAZERS USA owners ruined our club. GARNACHO should b focusing trying to gt UTD BK 2 the top
@@andrewquinn5946 bet you live no where near liverpool too, we know most scousers are evertonians, even your own so called legendary band beatles prefered everton over liverpool 🤣
Alejandro garnacho has the potential to be a star player in Madrid.. he works hard fast and energetic good future replacements for vini.. I see garnacho becoming a star player for Madrid.
Moyes should go down as the man who destroyed United. He gutted the core by eliminating the coaching staff. The fact that could, is a sorry statement on ManU governance e
Mark missed out, Ugarte, on the South American list and the LEGEND that is Antony he doesn't walk he glides, and he's so COOL his bed makes it's 😮 BUT! It's just a MASSIVE shame he's SHIT! at football 😂
@@justreality4054 nonsense? Tried and tested where, couldn’t even make the France team this year and hasn’t won a single thing at arsenal. I’d rather have a cb that wins things than one that records his teammates stroking their you know what’s 🤣🤣🤣
Garnacho is not Madrid level it’s laughable even mentioning it 😂😂 Nono of our players are at that level unfortunately. Why on earth would Madrid want him?
