My Twin 87 and I are still going strong and it’s still my go to. The versatility is great and it sounds like it should be at a higher price point. I did reach out abt a wood case and they referred me to someone within the company that gets so many of them made per year.

I bought 3 of the twin 87! This is coming from someone who owned 2 real U87ai’s. Vintage mode with RF mode on is amazing on instruments with a clean preamp

I own both mics but I have to say that the UT Twin 87 to me is the better mic on vocals.... Great clarity and clean signal... The modern and vintage modes are absolutely that.... This mic sounds absolutely amazing... Don't be fooled by the price.... This mic easily competes with or exceeds mics that cost 5 or 6 times more....
