I say you should occupy some chaos waste settlements just to trade for settlements that would complete your provinces.

Ironside Saga #15 "I think that we can safely say that our situation has once again stabilized at long last, but who knows how long that will last for," Morgris comments as he reads the news of the confederation with Ungrim Ironfist. He looks up from the news at Aragris as they sit around a table, waiting to eat lunch. "I presume that we'll be resuming construction on the expansion project?" Aragris nods, "Work restarted this morning on it. Furthermore, we can start upgrading the gyrocopters in your unit and those under your command again. The first of several complete packages will be ready tomorrow and the upgrade process will most likely commence tomorrow. We won't be working on any additional iron miners however. Right now, one is enough and it would be pointless to make more that will need to be repaired." "Did something go wrong?" Aragris looks away from her brother in thought. From her face, Morgris can tell that she's trying to choose her words carefully because the topic is complex and not easy to understand. She looks back at Morgris, "Not with the iron miner itself. The problem is the steam engine and I was worried that this might happen. You see, a whole steam engine is actually two separate units working together. You have the boiler which produces the steam, and then the engine which converts the power of the steam into mechanical power that drives the iron miner forward. If one isn't up to par, then it will bottleneck the other. Having two units like this naturally makes the engine potentially less reliable and harder to maintain since there are more things that can break and it is more complicated. Unfortunately, the steam engine used in the iron miner requires that parts are made to tight tolerances and doing this consistently is proving to be difficult." "I get it, there's no point making more of a bad thing," Morgris comments. "What about that other engine you were working on? Is that working yet?" "Not yet," Aragris responds. "It is almost ready, and I thank the slayers who are powering the engine as spirits and helping me test the engine. Switching to that engine would be a massive improvement, and that is why I started developing it because even at the start of this development cycle, I could tell that the steam engine was going to be a constant source of problems." "Well, what is stopping you from using it now?" "I want to make sure that I get this right and avoid what we're dealing with now regarding the steam engine," Aragris answers. "Lord Makaisson is right, we get better results when we have better tooling. Once the manufacturing process is nailed down and we have finished tuning the engine, we can start producing what I have dubbed slayer engines. It will combine the boiler and engine of the steam engine into one smaller and overall lighter unit that will produce the same amount of power. This engine is also more reliable." Morgris smiles, "Well, after seeing what the iron minor can do using steam power, I imagine that your original creations will be even more fierce once they get that engine." The two stop the conversation here, turning their attention to eating a hearty lunch. Their siblings join them, and the four of them relax and be merry now while the time allows. They all expect that there will be trouble in the future after the situation that they have faced, and though they don't know yet exactly what it is, they expect this trouble to be great and dangerous. Aware that Malakai is going to go north to face the followers and demons of chaos, they believe that is the most likely place where trouble will come from next. If the trouble doesn't come from here, they expect it to come from the west. Of particular concern is Azazel's forces, but this could change at any moment based on what the forces of Kisleve decide to do. Thus, the Ironside siblings are playing careful attention to news from the southwest. After lunch, the four siblings go their separate ways and see to their various matters at hand. The rest of the day is peaceful, with a great deal being done. The next day, Morgris personally takes part in the upgrading of his gyrocopter by starting the process. With his tools and his hands, Morgris begins the process of detaching the hull from his gyrocopter. Bit by bit, the hull is carefully detached from the frame of the gyrcopter while it is propped up to prevent it from falling and hurting someone. Once it is free, the original hull is safely transported away and Morgris lets other hands take over for the rest of the process. Step by step, the upgrades are installed on his gyrocopter. This includes an improved engine that has greater reliability and improved efficiency thanks to the use of runes and the rune powered cannon that Morgris and Undur observed in testing some time ago. After three hours of constant work and then safety inspections, Morgris' gyrocopter is the first of those under his command to be fully upgraded. Several more are soon to finish the process as well for a grand total of four upgraded gyrocopters. Morgris is in the middle of deciding if he wants to take his gyrocopter for a quick test flight to see how it performs, but his brother approaches, "Morgris. How long until these gyrocopters are back in the air?" "Three of them are almost put back together and once they all pass a quick test flight, then they're ready to go," from his brother's tone, Morgris already knows that something isn't right. "What is wrong?" Undur remains calm, but his face portrays the urgency of the matter, "Word has reached us that something is going on far to the south. A group of miners, who have in their possession a special tablet, are reporting strange encounters and they suspect that something is up. Lord Ironfist has asked us to take care of this problem while his forces relocate to the east around The Silver Pinnacle. We need to get back on the move as fast as we can. We don't have time to fully upgrade all of the gyrocopters." "Aye, well then, I'd better get this test flight done with. If you can, spread the word to the rest of my pilots for me in the meantime." The two brothers separate, and once he is dressed to fly, Morgris climbs into the cockpit as fast as he can. "Time to put on a show of skill because there is no time to waste."

The Slayer Engineer and the Slayer King. An amazing team up. And pretty sweet beatdown of Archaon. That'll write out a few grudges from the book.

Karak Ungor has a recruitment building you can destroy, it's in Northern World's Edge Mountains. I'm really looking forward to seeing that KoS's get cannon'd too :D

Honestly it would probably be a good idea to trade all your slayers for giant slayers they're just better in every way and benefit from the same bonuses
