Thanks for this! Very simple tutorial to follow along with. No coding. Utilizing the SteamVR plugin provided pre-done scripts! I've tried following a handful of tutorials, but they are all a bit dated and don't reflect some of the more recent changes with Unity and/or SteamVR plugin. Keep these up!

Bro I don't even know what to say, you are amazing, so simple, etc please do maybe custom interaction tutorials so if I wanted the trigger to add force to the player and stuff like that but nonetheless honestly man, the best tutorial ever, I was surprised. I am using WMR with SteamVR plugin which is great compared to Microsoft's mixed reality packages, a nightmare to learn and understand.

Keep up the good work! Doing this way was much easier than messing with PlayMaker. If you can make other beginner tutorials demonstrating the different Vive scripts, that would be great.

When I load in the player asset then hit play, it says 'All compiler errors have to be fixed before you can enter playmode!' instead of giving me the 'it looks like you haven't generated actions for SteamVR Input yet. Would you like to open the SteamVR Input window?' Any advice?

I did everything exactly like in the video, but after deleting mainCam and adding the player prefab, i cant control the camera via the vive. Anyone an idea on how to fix this?

When I build this project, the hands do not appear. I can only see their shadows. The controllers render fine though. What could the issue be?

They need an update in the assests store for the Cosmos controllers. They are really quite differnt from the original HTC vive controllers.

Little question, how do I disable the default Controller model including the 2 hands? I want to use my own Hand model, but I can`t see/find anything to disable the model rendering. I tried to put the entire Controller in a Layer that the Camera wont render, but it seems like the Model is being rendered by Script or something like that. So how do I use my own Controller model? I know there is a Model checkbox to uncheck, but thats only in the older SteamVR where you used the [CameraRig] instead of "Player".. So how do I get rid of the model? I cant find ANY tutorial or webside telling me how to disable it in SteamVR 2.0 Only in the old one

Really great tutorial, but for some reason even if I go step by step I can't get my controlers to appear in the game when I build it. EDIT: Ok, so the problem was I hat to go to: Window/SteamVR Input and then it did the generation like on 3:00. After that it works GREAT!

After importing the SteamVR plugins that setting window doesn't pop up. Is there a way to open it manually? I'm running 2019.3.0a3 if that matters.
