I was fucking thinking: I need that bars that appear in music videos without videoclips, for unity(I want to make a rhythmic game), so... I will search: Music visualizer. 1 Result: Unity Music Visualizer V1 ... GOOGLE UR A WIZARD!!!
Props to Cobalt for the cool proof of concept in Unity! If anybody is curious about the Unreal Engine implementation, check out ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jM7wZuLTe0o.html
quite simple with unity... but they basically copied cinema 4d. what would be nice is if u could set it as a desktop background in windows like on linux :O
And here I was thinking I had a semi-original idea putting the blocks in a circle like this only to see all these other ones after looking up cinema 4D. Dang.
@Cobalt- really like what you did with this visualizer for unity - might have another unity music project you might be interested in collaborating on!!
is it possible for you to share the source code with me? I'm trying to create something like this for a sch project and i need help especially when it comes to coding as it is something totally new to me. thank you!
I linked a tutorial in the description that shows you step by step how to create a small scale version (5 blocks I think). All you have to do to up-size it like I did is create more blocks and spread out the amount of frequencies each block is responsible for. The more blocks you have, and the less frequencies each block is trying to visualize, the more fluid it looks. The rest is just finding the right balance of frequencies per block, which is something you just have to tinker with.
Quantum Cat The average donation right now is around 10-20, but it's really up to you. I don't mind all that much as long as it's something. :) Keep in mind that the download is for Version 2, not the one in this video.
Hey some advertisers for mobile wallpapers are using this footage of your visualizer for advertisements. I'm not sure if you're aware but if you're getting ripped off I'd want to make sure you know.
pub:Horoscope Tech Studio punch that into the google play store and you'll find the company responsible. Not only are they using this in ads but they're apparently shitstorming they're consumers with ads on top of that. Very unethical practice
@@Echo93611 The ad displays on apps that have chosen to be sponsors for the company. Im not gonna sugar coat it, i was bored at work and installed this game called PAKO forever and the ad containing this popped up essentially claiming it was their work. You may have to hop on that grind to get the ad to show up. Lettin ya know because it was this video that got me interested in unity :)
It isn't exactly functional outside of unity, I don't really know how to program it to where you can change songs without manually changing and re-saving the .exe, it was mostly just a side project for fun.
As- pect "If you'd like a copy of the version 2 visualizer you can donate to bgeiger9@gmail.com through paypal Donators will receive an executable and a unity project file of the visualizer." That is copied straight from the description
How do you mean smooth? There isn't any artificial smoothing like interpolation or anything being done, it's just updating the bars' size every frame according to how intense each frequency is.
