If you have a broken charging port and can't or don't want to repair it this device might be the solution. If you have a phone with an internal battery of course, then you will have to try something else. We sell a lot of these to customers who are using Samsung phones since the charging ports are easy to break if you are not careful. In some cases the port can be repaired but sometimes the connections on the logic board are so badly damaged that it cannot be repaired.
The downside is that you will not be able to transfer data via USB but as far as getting the battery charged, this will do the trick. A lot of people buy this along with an extra battery so that they can use the phone while charging the spare at the same time.
Beware of cheap imitations. We have spent over $100 testing other chargers and while there were a few that worked ok, most were very low quality and a waste of money. If you use this charger properly it should last you many years.
