Hi Hazel! I just wanted to point out that, being this an 'universal' Celtic deck, both unicorns and dragons actually made sense 😉 The Unicorn is the emblematic animal of Scotland, while the dragons are obviously Welsh a wonderful deep review on your part go raibh maith agat🍀
Well there you go! I had never heard that the unicorn was an emblem of Scotland. I knew Wales has a dragon emblem but don't know the stories at all. Every day's a school day. Lol. Thanks for watching and for commenting!
Thank you so much for doing this detailed walk-through and going through the cards that stumped you. I've got the same issue with the ones that diverge so much from RWS and the booklet describes what we see on the card, without explaining the meaning. I'm so glad to have found this video!
I have really enjoyed using this deck, though I don't apply most of the mythology when reading it. I have to agree that there are some strange variations from the RWS and the 7 of Pentacles is definitely one of them.
This is a beautiful deck! I don’t have many Lo Scarabeo decks, but the ones I do have I absolutely love! I’m very attracted to the images in this deck. Thank you for the walkthrough!
What a great walk through…thanks a million- I will go back through this in detail and try to workout what each one means as it’s hard with the limited guidebook and like you said the different interpretations … ☘️ I love Bridget and the temperance card too it’s mesmerising and yes she is always the firey 🔥 depiction …my middle name is Bridget after my nana from. Co Clare and she’s my spirit guide and you’re right the artwork is immaculate I!…I got this in the tiny deck so I need to zoom on the images first off from your video and take notes of the symbols and details 😆 this… True so true Finn should be the logical Sword king 😆 The Empress is just perfect that picture just makes me homesick and proud and is a pleasure of a treasure Pmsl at Keira Knightly 😂 So the teeny deck version booklet only gives the first 5-13 word definitions eg at the feast of Bealtaine 🤷♂️ 😝 and that’s it so I might have to use this as a clarification deck as opposed to reading from this deck initially 🤦🏻♀️ yes I agree with you about the little white book 📖 some of those words cannot be horsed out I’m with you the devil is a Durty looking Willy man haaaaa. The dragons threw me on the king of swords too? I’d absolutely love to hear how you would actually read with this using your tarot knowledge & do a card walkthrough on your interpretation Thanks for this very insightful run through I have to agree and even the small ones just shuffle in your palm stunningly it’s like it belongs, perfect paper Delighted I did a search to get some info on this deck or I never would’ve stumbled in your channel 👏
Lovely walkthrough. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. While I do like dragon's and unicorns, I agree with you on many of the cards that stray from RWS.
Thank you for this walkthrough lovely! I really like the look of it - especially as there is a card for The Morrigan! I didn't like the card with the little garden gnome on it either though 😂
Well only a few cards do incorporate myth and that is mentioned each time in the LWB. So if you got the deck you could always read more on a myth that interested you after identifying it in the LWB. I think this deck is readable with general tarot knowledge and the booklet.
@@HazelJaneTarot I have been considering to buy this deck for quite sometimes, and this morning suddenly I feel wanting to see the cards. I think this is a sign. : )
