Great information as always. No one, absolutely no one has mentioned amputees. I can’t get out of my garden without someone pushing me. I would need the same coming home! I’ve never travelled alone, yet in a wheelchair. I’m in remission from cancer and not being able to face the outside world 😢 I go to my medical appointments with a family member but she’s in her 80’s. I’m scared to death if they take away PIP. I pay all my Aunty’s petrol for taking me to essential medical appointments

Last night debate between rishi and keir it was said from rishi that Labour had opposed all the green paper yet said if you can work you must work only time will tell.

Labour policy on disability benefits is primarily focussed on making the disabled work. BBC has a list of the main political parties and their manifestos broken down by policy/subject area for comparison.

As I lay in bed in the early hours of Thursday due to pain keeping me awake, I’ll be glad to see the back of the wrecking ball Tories. As for labour hmmmm a supposed socialist party well I’ve emailed their candidate and their office relating to disabled people and PIP! And their lack of any response is deafening..

Was listening to the recent debate between kier and rishi, regarding disability kier said he would have to bring down the nhs waiting lists so people who need operations could get treatment etc.. and get back to work. Going by the long lists it will take years to sort out. Here's hoping 🤞

This is the only thing I could find in Labour's manifesto regarding disability benefits. It's vague but I think it's better than anything the Tories are offering. Labour will work with local areas to create plans to support more disabled people and those with health conditions into work. We will devolve funding so local areas can shape a joined-up work, health, and skills offer for local people. We will tackle the backlog of Access to Work claims and give disabled people the confidence to start working without the fear of an immediate benefit reassessment if it does not work out. We believe the Work Capability Assessment is not working and needs to be reformed or replaced, alongside a proper plan to support disabled people to work.

So! Its more stick than carrots or austerity 3.0

Can you believe they dragged me into job centre this week for me to look for more hours, after an accident last year which left my left arm paralysed my employer managed to give me a different roll at reduced hours ( was doing 17 reduced to 13 ) I did say what jobs are you expecting me to look for his reply anything really from wearhouse work or even customer service don’t they realise living Solely right handed is bloody tiring both day to day life and working wish I had gone on long term sick now.

Pip ask me to send my review back by the 14th of Feb so I did but haven't heard back yet so.dont know weather it's going to continue or not and is it a good or bad thing that its taken this long as I've heard that they are behind in doing the renewals but didn't think that it would take this long

Hi stu just wanna ask im on income related esa and housing benefit. Live in shared support house. Been hearing for ages that we gonna get letter to change to universal credit. Can u tellme im worried when i get the lett to transfer i. Heard its no auto transfer. Do i have to fill forms and go to another medical face to face health assessment again 😧 before they decide if i can transfer to universal credit or not.last i went was 2019 before COVID. Im stressed 😥😫. Like do i have hayfever too its bad . Wait ur reply urgently brother 😊❤
