For some reason looking at the parking lot of all things almost made me emotional. Just the realisation that less than one year from now, thousands of people will be walking over it, excited to go to this park we've all been following for 5+ years... Wow
It's SO good to get an update like this. I hope it withstands this hurricane season, because I am going to desperately need the get away this summer! Everyone stay safe!
Milton will make landfall between Tampa and Fort Myers ~2am Thursday Oct 9th. Initial outlooks believed the storm would diminish to a Category 3 and then Category 1 once inland (Orlando). But, as of 7pm this evening, Milton has regained it's strength- returning to a Category 5.
It gets better and better in every update. Every new detail just adds layer upon layers of stunning beauty to the park. When we finally see it for real with all the kinetic elements like the flying dragons, lightning details, inside the ride queues, the rides themselves, the shows, I think we will be even more stunned at how crazy wonderful this park will be.
Now entering the phase where I'm starting to get MEGA excited about touring the park with you when it finally opens. So looking forward to the video updates! 😁
I mean… this is themepark artistry at it’s finest. Each episode you carefully assembled i am just blown away by the beauty and detail of this revolutionary themepark. Disney better go hard on Villains Land. 😂🖤
I would say Tokyo Disneysea remains to be the best (at least for me), the attention to detail in that park is still unbeatable in theme park industry, also, they found a way to connect of story of different lands "ports" which is genius! US Disney parks are indeed downgraded... I found that the two Disney parks in Japan even have more rides than WDW with its all four parks... The EPCOT/AK/ HS 100% seems like unfinished theme parks...
Man, I can only dream on taking a week long vacation with my whole family to Orlando, hitting Islands of Adventure, Seaworld, 2 days at Epic universe, and maybe the Disney Parks, and then heading down to Tampa to night ride Iron Gwazi! Literally losing it rn in excitement for this park 🤩
I love the new updates! I very much hope we get some art nouveau inspired merchandise for Epic Universe, because that design aesthetic is gorgeous 🥰 Also while technically being off topic (and kinda being an "apples to oranges" comparison), I'm happy and giddy about decorative water fountains being included in the design for Epic Universe and actually having them being built as opposed to Epcot's central garden planter in a otherwise stale, Irvine california business complex 😂
I literally just went to check if there is any construction update and you just posted! Looking forward to watching this later while I wait out, Hurricane Milton!
Nighttime rides on Stardust Racers are really going to be something else. Like riding an even more extreme Disneyland Paris Space Mountain with a racing element!
Mega is the term I started using for video updates that cover every land of the park, as my earlier videos would often only cover one area at a time. That way it’s easy to tell the difference between smaller news updates and the full park updates!
Helios is now hiring with a start date in February which is a good hint on opening dates for the hotel. Nova and Luna is also hiring with start dates in December which means about 1 month of training.
I have to wonder how much of these elements are at risk from Milton? I am sure a bunch of trees are going to get uprooted and perhaps the fabric on the circus tent, but am curious how the rest of the park will fair...
@@JosephDeandradeThe scaffolding would be my biggest concern, but that stuff goes up and down in a day, so I'm sure the entire site has been undergoing preparations, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it all down by now.
yeah same, that seems rough. All the prep areas that are scattered around with pieces of rides and buildings have to be locked down or secured somewhere.
True, the park hasn’t been fully built yet and already there’s gonna be a hurricane coming. I wonder if it’ll might delay the expected opening date for the park, which is Spring 2025.
Alicia, This is the only channel I get my info from and have been watching for years. I love how 99% of what you have speculated and looked into has come to fruition and are now facts and are being built right before our eyes. I can not wait to buy tickets for Epic Universe and see it for myself. Stay safe this week.
At 8:16 they're putting strings of lights in the trees. That seems early to do that if the park isn't going to open until next summer...given the tree is a living, changing thing. Is this a sign of a possible earlier opening? LOVE the Pizza Moon sign at 8:57 and I hope Celestial Park is filled with turn-of-the-century charm. Reminds me of what Disney was going for briefly with Pixar Pier but with Incredibles and Inside Out and other additions, that turn-of-the-century feel was lost. At 9:32 and 9:40 I just marvel at how beautifully integrated this hotel is to the park. Bravo! The foam and astroturf hill at the Constellation Carousel remains the park's biggest mystery. Why?! 🤔Seen at 6:56 to 6:59. --Hope y'all are safe down there!!
I’ll never forget my first trip to Universal Orlando back in 2009 before WWoHP opened. To see how far the resort has grown and continues to grow blows me away every time I watch your EU construction updates. I cannot wait for this to finally open!
I'm literally tearing up seeing everything getting closer and closer to completed and looking exactly like the concept art and animations. It's so amazing to see something start out as just dirt being pushed around to bare bones structures to fully realized and themed lands. This is truly the first major theme park built in the age of social media, drone technology, HD cameras, and RU-vid.
Another great video, thanks! I feel so sorry for the project team that is probably scrambling right now to secure the site as best as possible, and then is going to have to clean up after the hurricane. I bet a lot of the new trees will be easily wiped out, and all the newly cleaned fountain areas will be flooded with silt again.
The park really is all coming together now. Wonder if Hurricane Milton will cause any major damage to the theming in and around it. We’ll just have to wait and see….
Another awesome video, thanks Alicia & team, plus bioreconstruct and Annie. EU looks greater every time I see it! I don’t know which area I’m looking forward to more. Everyone in the area PLEASE be careful with Milton on its way. 🌀 Be safe out there!😊
So much looks so finished- all of the main pathways look ready to pave, the foliage is gorgeous and the water features are really eye popping! I see soft openings by Holiday time? Maybe for the New Year?
I know some family friends who had a architect friend that invited them to come to Harry Potter world Diagon alley before it opened 😊 They get perks for sure!
Same, I’ve loved the old entrance sign with the Universal globe on the blue background. Hopefully the screens on either side of the new sign will look good in person.
Epic universe I am super excited to see the new theme park attraction to open to the public next year so I look forward to see you here next year I hope the construction site is still going on so they better pick up the pace time is running out.
Park is coming along so well, i just wish we could see more of the ministry of magic ride lol. The wait is killing me. Will definitely be planning to go some time next fall or winter.
Thinking of everyone as Hurricane Milton approaches. Your safety is the top priority! 💙 Take care, stay safe, and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. 🙏✨
Milton better not mess with my park. We are having an epic vacation next year. Going Rockstar Level at the hardrock (concierge level) as it is worth it. Curious what the new in park hotel will offer for fast pass perks if any.
I'm sure Epic Universe will sustain some damage from hurricane Milton but hopefully it's limited to basically trees down and simple stuff like that. You can pretty much 100% guarantee there will be trees down around the park.
