We are all literally about to be so insufferable at this park when it opens. "Did you know that this patch of roadway was actually poured before any of the other roads in the park? Isn't that interesting?! And I haven't even told you about the different names this bar had before the final patent was filed..."

Cruise ships and theme parks I never go to when they first open. It’s best to wait a year or so when they’ve fixed most of the kinks and the prices have come down.

The covering on the newly-poured concrete paths is to stop them drying out. The cement in the concrete needs water for it to set. Rain can also mark the surface before it is set, and the covering helps with that as well.

Used to live right off Kirkman and Conroy...used to drive to work through Universal Studios...to get on highway 4? to go downtown...it was sooo cool to live there...Can't wait to go back and see all the new stuff...

They have good security behind it for not using the data unnecessarily. There's also an opt-out.

You can opt out just like you can opt out with the finger print reader. It'll just be more of a pain in the butt getting in and out of the different portals or parks.

The covering for the pour concrete is most likely a Vapor barrier, it keeps the concrete from losing moisture too quick and not letting the concrete set.

It's another Hagrid's situation. It would've been apt to name the ride after one of the Universal monster crossover films like "House of Frankenstein: Monsters Unchained". Also, it's weird the spinner is trademarked as "Curse of The Werewolf" and not "Curse of The Wolfman". Minor semantics.

Love these updates. I will say though, those paths inside the racing coasters is almost definitely not for evacuations as there are no block brakes in that area that the ride would be evacuated from, nor do parks make pathways for the highly unlikely scenario that a ride valleys. Those are definitely for maintenance vehicles to access areas of the ride for inspections and upkeep.

Intrigued by the reflective tiles on the hotels that’s bound to look astounding once completed & the aerial shots look MASSIVE. With so much traffic on I-4 SunRail should’ve already have a stop near I-Drive & the convention center.

I can imagine how excited and curious those residents at the apartment complex close to the property must be. To have a major theme park being built not far away and with two cool looking hotels next door to you would be EPIC indeed.

On the contrary, I would think most are annoyed, frustrated, or straight up angry that such a huge park is being built near them. All the noise and traffic it generates is not ideal for living. Universal already has complaints from neighbors to their original parks too.

These people are about to hear fireworks every single night, see flashing lights through their window and experience insane traffic. Worst yet, the value of their home is going to skyrocket, but none of these people own their home. The commercial value of that whole area is going to explode.

@@jedibilly There will be fireworks too. Epic Universe is not in a residential zone like the current parks are. There's also a specific fireworks launch pad back stage that can support large fireworks similar to what Disney does at MK.

I think Hiccup's winged gliders name is for the skyfly rides cause the skyfly rides are suppose to simulate gliding thru the air. The dragon racer rally name is for the coaster cause like in a rally race, cars are sent out one at a time onto a winding course to set their best time.

You can see Starfall Racers from near the corner of Universal Blvd and Destination Pkwy, but the ferris wheel will offer great views of the entire property, yes!

The plan is to offer shuttle busses down the new dedicated bus lane on the extended Kirkman Rd. Later, they want to start offering self-driving shuttles between the two resorts. We will be covering this topic in more detail in a couple months!

I wouldn't mind getting some updates now that the testing for the photo validation is ongoing. Very excited for EU, but this item has me concerned. Perhaps it will be better than the fingerprint scans we do now.

We will be covering updates to that system on our website for sure, orlandoparkstop.com, as well as mentioning milestones briefly like in this video. But it will be testing and improving all throughout 2024, so it will be a slow rollout.

@@ThemeParkStop Honestly, my big fear is it will launch like Tapu Tapu and cause a bunch of negative reviews for a great park. Long queue lines & ride issues are one thing. Imagine a system failure that bottlenecks the entry to the park. Rope drop would be a hell scape. I have done plenty of rope drops at all the parks and right now the biggest fear is getting stuck behind the family that messed up their tickets and have no clue what they are doing and you have to stand there watching the other lines go into the park. Thank God I don't suffer from high blood pressure..😎

We don’t know for sure yet, but I wonder if they’d be the same tier as something like Sapphire Falls/Aventura/Cabana Bay.
