The painting of the water basins really makes the whole park come alive. It's interesting that the water basins in Celestial Park are receiving light-blue coatings to emphasize the sparkling-blue, crystal-clear water, while the main water basin in the Isle of Berk is getting a very dark blue (almost black) coating to sell the illusion of great depth.
YAY! This was the entire reason why Epic Universe was built....to make Universal Orlando Resort a week long vacation and not just a couple of days. Hopefully this trend continues with mosts potential guests.
I would give Epic 4 days, one for each portal and a little time each day in Celestial Park. Early half of a day for Volcano Bay, later half for Universal Studios and 2 full days for islands of adventure. 7 days of fun without feeling rushed or over stimulated.
I like the TerraLuna hotel tiles. Nowadays everything seems to lean so modern and 'clean' looking, almost no color, just going for a complete white look. I love that theyre not doing that. They're basically doing the opposite. I'm not sure when we became scared of color and 'busy' looking things but I really appreciate how they have ALL the color.
I find the building, designing, and getting all this done so interesting. The planning, the organizing, etc. it’s pretty amazing what people can create and do
Why do we need to bring up WDW every single time Alicia releases a new video? We get it, WDW is slow with no plans. Give it a rest. We know they aren't going to be in a good position. Let's not beat a dead horse here. Why not just focus this awesome park and let the chips fall where they may? Stop giving WDW attention it doesn't deserve right now.
I think healthy competition will inspire Disney to invest more in their American parks.its a win win for us customers.Competition always does that in business.A Monopoly becomes stagnant without competition
There are so many 'They Didn't Have To, But They Did Anyway' touches around the park (and on the hotel walls!). It's great to see that Epic Universe is going to be the product of such artistry and passion, and not just a cynical IP cash grab. I hate to say it but I was wrong about Comcast :D
A flux capacitor doesn’t make sense thematically, but I could see something with a slight resemblance to it being neat. I’ve seen people online thinking it’s an actual flux capacitor and that isn’t what an Easter egg is, so they should temper their expectations lol.
This has been my most exciting update so far! All of these small details of progress make a huge difference! The park is really coming together. I’m waiting to see even more landscaping

That's not happening. It's not as far along as it may seem. There's still TONS of work to be done. Nothing can happen with a park opening until the Kirkman Rd Extension is complete which won't happen until early 2025 at the earliest. It is absolutely essential this is complete and ready to go before anything can happen.
I predict end of Feb 2025. They have removed the summer from opening summer 2025 because they are ahead of schedule but didn't replace the word summer with spring which is telling. I think all the main attractions and hotels be completed by autumn landscaping be done by end of year. They then have 2 months for staff training and progressively larger size preview events to test everything out and full opening once the new road infrastructure is completed
@@stevepage4504 We should get an official opening date this year. Families need time to plan their vacations and a lot of them do it a year or so in advance. So I think they have to announce an official opening date this year because of that.
I’m so excited for this park! I’m planning on visiting January 2026 for my 30th birthday and will be at Epic Universe on my birthday when we visit! Can’t wait to ride these new coasters!
@ThemeParkStop do a video about ALL of the Epic Universe coasters TESTING!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩 All of the coasters have completed at least one test run on video!!! Starfall Racers only had the bright yellow side testing, not the green side though.
Can I say that I need an Alicia Stella RU-vid soundtrack? Because my associations of the worlds of Epic to this music is now indelibly stamped on my psyche, and I’m not sure I can visit the park without it 😂
Do we know if Universal will be making a line of merchandise themed to Celestial Park in addition to the four IP lands? I feel like I’d be more likely to get something like that as a souvenir for my first Epic Universe visit since I already have plenty of Nintendo & Harry Potter stuff.
I just noticed that the medallions on the trains also appear to have led lights on them as well. They alternate from the upper smaller medallion to the larger one next in line. I'm just wondering what color light they will emit or if it's multi colored for a true fire-esque visual. I'm hoping the barrel in the DK coaster isn't permanently affixed, but rather has a rapid kickback each time train cart ejects from it like in the video game. A sensor on the track could trigger the barrel to suddenly kick back and glide back to its original position. it would just add more to the theming and visual appeal. i love watching these updates. i’m always interested to see what’s going on in the Wizarding World but looks like nothings changed besides the scaffolding coming down
I hope that Starfall Racers has a single personal line. I can't wait to ride this and compare it too other rollercoasters I've been on. WDW's Rollercoasters were fun, but I've been on more thrilling rollercoasters from other theme parks, including my local ones. My guess is they wanted their rides to be more 'family friendly' which would be understandable. *Looks up fav roller coaster's top speed and height* Hmmm, it may not be as thrilling as the Iron Rattler at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, but I am still looking forward to it.
