When child's play first came out. There was a doll line called my buddy and my kids sister that creeped me out. They literally came out at the same time.

Chucky was based off the My Buddy dolls. Those movies terrified me as a kid and I know the new show will scare me too but I'm still going to watch it.

The one you think is a zombie is actually from An American werewolf in London, he was David's(the werewolf) friend Jack Goodman he was killed by the beast on the moors. Through out the film he comes back to haunt David.

@@beatrizferraz593 You are right it does but the jacket was what made me think about it and the fact that the damage to the face is only on one side just like Jack's. My eldest sister was obsessed with the film when I was a kid and she made us sit through it every time she babysat my younger sister and me lol.

childs play already had a reboot movie in 2019. the chucky tv series coming out later this year on syfy will be a continuation of the original movies, not a reboot.

There was a doll called Kid Brother that looked a lot more like Chucky. My daughter had the sister to that doll and buried it in her closet after seeing Chucky.
