I love Toon Lagoon. I had to call my mom and text pics of the characters. She explained most of them to me. I remember seeing most of them in the Sunday comics! She remembers when Dudley Do Right merged with Bull and Winkle.
Even though it's much older, the Spiderman ride is much better than the Transformers clone, which doesn't even have a story. That ride is just things happening while your vehicle excitedly points at other transformers and shouts their names.
I beg to differ. Spiderman has a better story, but what makes transformers so good is how well it's themed. It's like being directly in a Michael Bay film, which benefits it so much. The Spiderman does have that classic feeling, but that's just it. It's very.. basic. There's no risks other than the fire effects, which are cool mind you. If they want Spiderman to be better, they need to do 3 things. 1. UPDATE THE CGI (Keep it mostly the same) 2. Replace Scream with Venom (Much more well known villain.) 3. Add MORE!! It's too plain, so maybe risk it a little with some unique animatronics and special effects!
FB . Have a video where me and my teen kids are running through this park at rope drop . We are the only ones there it’s really a magic moment . WE all know how busy this park gets . We did 4 of the biggest rides with no other guests and no queues . One of my top memories . Great review expect nothing less . 😊👍😊
Thank you very informative! I just wish you had given height requirements for each ride since we are bringing a young one. But this has given me a good idea of what she could ride!
Thank you, another great video of a fabulous park. My tip, which is the same I always say (sorry), is single rider. I did Spider-Man and Kong several times with minimal wait.
Still very bitter that dueling dragons was taken out and completely demolished when they could’ve just relocated it. Especially when all it needed was refurbished
I’ve been to islands of adventure 3 times in the same months and I still don’t learn not to put my hands up on the velocicoster 😭 I’ve twisted my back every time I ride the velocicoster with my hands up 😔
I'm going to Disney World for the first time next year for my honeymoon and I've been binging all of your WDW videos in preparation! I would love to see a guide to Disney World for couples - less of a focus on family-friendly rides and restaurants and instead focusing on the best things to do in Disney for adults? Especially any especially romantic suggestions! From a fellow frugal Brit, thanks for your excellent guides, I know they're going to help me a tonne when planning our trip!
Oh you'll have a great time. My advice having just come back would be that as adults it's worth paying extra for queue jumping, that way as adults you get to do rides at your leisure when you want. But then you get to take in more of the atmosphere and the theming, something I took very little notice of as a child.
@@jonnymillard3085 Thanks for the tip, we'll definitely look into it - we're really looking to try to make the most of it as we don't know when we'll have another chance to go!
And in California all we have is an outdated Disneyland park that charges an arm and a leg just to get in and no guarantee that you can ride their popular attractions. Universal Studios is tiny with the same rides from 25 years ago. Outrageous!
3:11 If you’re tall, you won’t fit in Rip-Saw Falls. I’m 6’1” and thin, and I can’t even fit in the back row with the most legroom. 3:40 Popeye is super underrated. This ride is GREAT!
I’m 6”3, around 220lbs and I got on. There is usually specially adapted seats for big guys on certain rows. This includes Rip ride rocket, the hulk etc. Disney has 2 rides that are almost impossible if you have muscular legs. Flight of passage and Tron. But Universal is very plus size friendly.
Hi, I'm the lady you filmed in olivanders! Such an amazing day for me being such a huge harry potter fan, I have to point out that on that day there were no kids in the room hence why I was chosen 😂 I was acting like a big kid at the time! I don't suppose you have the full video of this? As my husband didn't film it 😢
We find your videos very informative and helpful in planning our Orlando trips. We are staying at Beach Club for the first time this year……be good at some point to do a quick guide video for the Boardwalk (similar to the Disney springs material you do) .
Kong (and it's sister ride Fast and Furious) are both duds... I was very disappointed in the lack of maintenance on River Adventure with a big "camouflaged" section to hide animatronics that aren't working for example. Cat in the Hat was much better than we expected. Hagrids - there's a section of the queue in a cave that I found vary claustrophobic.
Yeah I used them last year. They seem to be the cheapest and have very good trust pilot scores. Only issue really was the universal tickets were 'will call'.
Thank you! ‘Will call’ is where you use the purchase reference number to pick them up at the gate of the park. You can also do this from the hotel if you’re staying on site. From experience, the likes of ‘Floridatix’ and ‘Attraction Tickets’ give you tickets that don’t require this, I.e. you get sent the full tickets which can take you straight in to the park.
Am going in May for a week doing 4 days for both parks coming from California. My wife is a huge Harry Potter fan so I know will spend a lot of time in the both of the wizard worlds. Can you suggest me were to eat and what are most get on rides. This park is way better than the one we have here in Hollywood. Even though we just got Mario world and getting donkey Kong world it still don’t compare to the ones in Orlando
Honestly, Mythos is.. mid. The whole area is unique, but it feels more like an inbetween to where your trying to go (Harry Potter/Jurassic Park) I think what would make that area INSANELY GOOD is if they made that whole area Skull Island and took out the old Skull Island and replaced that area with more Jurassic Park stuff. Think about this: Kong is the same way, people pass it to go to Velocicoaster or Harry Potter. Why? Because it's an inbetween, and theres nothing to do! what would benefit it is if they decided to go all out with the theme, and make a New Kong ride, one unique to Orlando like the Velocicoaster is. Maybe keep it so Kong is fighting the Vastatosaurus, but add some animatronics, some more special effects, some more uniqueness, and you've got yourself a King Kong ride everyone wants to ride. And outside of it, now the ride isnt the only thing you can do! There's shops! Meet & Greets, and more to explore Skull Island!
I went to Islands of Adventure two weeks ago and I was not impressed,i paid $150.00 including my Florida residency and the $30.00 parking fee. I was not happy with the fact that days before I left i went on the website which they stated the rides I wanted to go on were gonna be open and some were anything but, Jurassic Park river adventure was closed,Skull Island was operational but broke down while i was in the line and majority of the rides 40 minutes long in the hot sun and at the original park same thing also i couldn't take my backpack on Men in Black i had to rent a locker. I went on only two rides ET and Transformers 3D, needless to say the day after i went to Disney world and had a blast,i would a few days later i send an email with a complaint which i have yet to hear from them. Pretty much either they update the information on the website or not lie to lure people in as they pick pockets.
Great Video ! I can't wait to go back... and Now, We are even more excited about our Family's March Break Trip; Booked for: 2025, especially after watching your video...Thank You !
My cousin took medicine for motion sickness (maybe Dramamine) and rode it on an empty stomach, and even though he still felt a little dizzy, he was otherwise okay.
These parks have absolutely no shame and take every dime of your money they possibly can. $30 just to park, $270 for a single ticket, $15 for one slice of pizza and another $200 if you want expresses passes so you don't stand in line all day. It's ridiculous.
It's like this person has no idea what a theme park is. Please save your negativity for original and unique expressions. Not statements like they only exist to take your money and they don't care about you just your money.
What park are you talking about those prices you named are out of this world I take my family damn near every two to three months we're not paying nowhere near that
Definitely grab the Dramamine and take every morning before going to the parks. There’s a non drowsy formula I purchased. I also take Motrin 200 as well. Helps with the headaches from rides like The Hulk. I hope this info helps.
