@@thetree9399 honestly, that Frankenstein’s laboratory set alone is as impressive as anything they’ve ever done for HHN. The monster museum space before entering the maze alone was worth keeping this attraction around.
When I went through I guess the line stoped for a bit (which felt like forever) and I was right in front of the psycho curtain and just hearing the music knowing something was about to happen had me terrified
This maze was fantastic. It had all the original Universal monsters. And it took like ten minutes to walk through it. It was a great attraction. I was shocked when they removed it. It wasn’t even replaced with something better because it can’t be topped.
@@ozg9909 like that oasr awesome picture awards TCM hollywood netflix original email address post office box office in the past made magic of the same place
THIS SHOUDL HAVE STAYED! Universal was FOUNDED on it’s Monsters. Bet you cash money when you think of Frankenstein or Dracula the image that Universal created of these creatures are the first that come to mind. Now that it’s gone it feels like going to Disneyland and NOT seeing Mickey Mouse. The Monsters need a Permanent home in Universal again!
@@tanisharbanks8938 it's looks like come back home to universal studios hollywood i miss it it's going well it's beautiful ture life story made movie 🎥🍿 call them back in the world part time past flash back past life look at some maze in lullaby same time years before New sarcy Mary girl before she gets her first time years before
When I was a kid I stood in line because I thought this was just a little horror museum but when we got to the front I made my parents leave because I didn’t wanna do the whole jump scare bs
Watching this in 2022 and I forgot how much I miss this. This and the Mummy permanent maze was my introduction to haunted houses/ mazes. They’re just pure fun and great ways to let your guard down and let yourself get scared. I always had my guard up IRL and I think these teach you to just relax… I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but since none of this is real, it’s easier to relax.
I hope for it me too Derek Llewellyn feel like put back in universal studios hollywood it's looks good I love it so much fun making flash back past life look back
I appreciate videos like this, because although I had been through this attraction several times I never stopped to look at the displays, I was too freaked out or nervous to focus. Also the kiddie section with chairs/benches and coloring pages is such a neat idea for an attraction like this. I wish Universal had kept the House of Horrors.
When i went to america as a kid in 2013, this is the one thing that I absolutely loved. I went through this at least 20 times to the point they left their little enclosures just to scare my family. Amazingly dedicated staff in there. It sucks I won’t ever be able to go through that maze again.
I was a little kid back then and I refused to go through this attraction. My mom got really pissed when I didn't go in there. Now I'm all grown up and I found The Walking Dead attraction to not be that scary, but my mom didn't want to go in there because she was afraid. It's funny how we switched spots as time went by. I wished this attraction still existed.
Only went once, but it was so awesome and fun. And it was actually my first time EVER, going to something like that... So House Of Horrors definitely has a special place in my heart.
The one place the Phantom Gets Justice in the park and its closing down... I want the Mask and Costume.... also that cool red Death Replica atop the Flight of Stairs.
thebttfchannel Right i wanted to go once my friend told me that the phantom was there. Went to Universal and saw it was gone, i was mad for the rest of the day. The only thing that got me happy was seeing Harry Potter world
I was lucky top gpo through this house when it was Van Helsing. People were screaming and some had tears, it was hysterical to see people running out. I have been with this display also which was also fun.
That’s a pretty good idea for families with much younger kids. It’s pretty distressing to see a parent drag their toddler or preschooler in a maze that is clearly too scary and intense.
3:13 Pretty clever for Universal, given how a lot of tourists/lousy parents probably won't check the warnings, and have a really good child swap there.
Love that Chucky area!!! Wish I could’ve seen this, would’ve been a kid in a candy store love this stuff! So sad it wasn’t an all year around maze, great video!
Btw one of the werewolves in the forest scene jumped over the railing and pushed my dad and my dad pushed him back. The attendant was watching the whole things and he says "don't touch the actors". Don't know why they put the sign at the beginning "don't touch the actors they won't touch you".
We are sorry for that. Sometimes the actors may not see how close the audience walking through really is. It's dark in there are we wear makeup, then a mask to cover our face, then our monster mask. We may touch people, but it's accidental. We never intended to touch someone.
Maybe the werewolves are the ones that do touch. I used to enjoy this maze up until one of the werewolves slapped my leg. Since then I became concerned about getting touched [or slapped again] because some of these costumed actors can get very very close especially when they rapidly swing at your face. Recently I've had two keep their palms 2 inches away from my face when they pop out during places where its pitch black. Because of the werewolf and those two I go through this maze with one hand in front of my face and an elbow sticking out like I'm going to knife-hand strike lol. Ridiculous but should they come in contact with me I'd rather them do it with my arm or hand and not with my face.
Yeah! Exactly! The dude in the white curtain flicked my sun glasses off my head. Universal said they would search for my sun glasses, and send them back if they found them. UGHH! How come they can touch us! That's not fair!
I now serious regret never going in here when I first went to Universal as a kid. But in my defense, back when I was younger I couldn’t handle scary stuff and I didn’t really know what to expect going in here.
I don't remember stiff statues of Chucky and the Wolf Man from my last visit to this walkthrough (before it got replaced by Walking Dead, a non-Universal IP mind you).
when i was 8 or 7 my parents took me there and I cry cause i was a wussy now being 16 I been going to Halloween horror nights. i wish they brought this back.
I only went here once and it was while I still had a fear of mazes... I got over my fears the moment I started going to horror nights and now I regret not going into it more. 😭😭😭
😂😂my fav part when i was 11 years old and I was under my grandma’s jacket the whole time without peek! After I became teenaged, I was like what the hell, ain’t that bad 🙄💀. I wish this place was never replace!😭 I’m so sorry for nowadays kids never knew about this!! 🤣
I really miss this maze. I made friends with everyone who worked in their. They really need to bring it back, same location and everything the same inside
Walking dead is so over rated. I know the 2nd director of the show, we are good friends. But the Walking dead one is dumb. They should bring the other back, it was very popular
Tried this for the first time when i was like 17. Got so scared i ran out of a exit sign . But then didnt know where i was , so i came back inside the ride and continued with my eyes on the floor
I never screamed out my lungs as much as I did when i visited this in 2013. Especially there was a guy with a hash and he was chasing people. He hit it behind me as I rush towards the exit. There was also that "
I wonder if Hollywood would see a new monster attraction appear in the park? Universal Studios Orlando is rumoured to have monsters coming to epic universe if true it does also make me wonder how HHN will even look and could we get two universal horror events in Orlando
I was soo scared that in the mommies zone i freak out and drop the map ( first time in USA ) my sister grabbed me and we started to run to the exit XD omg....
I was a huge chicken when I was little never went in, my family would try to get me in but I refused, now I’m 20 years old with an obsession with horror and regret never going in at least once
Yeah but they turned it into a walking dead attraction for a bit then took it down still shouldve stayed up as a universal horror museum at least cause they had cool props in the queue area
8 years later same question. Sadly I will admit I regret ever wanting to work here after the experiences I've gone through and seen what I've seen behind the scenes. Bunch of jealous and pathetic excuse of leads , supervisors, I've ever encountered here. They're afraid the newbies will take over of their positions. They will not move u uo unless u kiss their ass literally. I will not bend myself froward and backwards for them. As for them removing and adding stuff completely understandable. Removing people for no reason isn't understandable.
infinitely better than no all year round horror-themed attraction at a studio literally built upon horror, not just horror, but the most iconic horror characters ever created
