Volcano bay is a great water park. One of my tips would be what you suggested later on in the video, walk straight round to Krakatoa, get your wait time, then use the lockers next to it. Always for water parks you are better using the lockers at the rear of the park as everyone always heads to the one at the front. My last trip to volcano bay I left my phone and all valuables at the hotel (was staying at universal endless summer), came in wearing my trunks with a tshirt and a change of clothes and towel in my bag (and some water). Then just leave the towel and bag on the seat and then you don’t have to rent a locker. Only thing of real value to steal would have been the park ticket but they need your finger print so that isn’t going to get them anywhere

Absolutely love Volcano Bay. My favourite is the lazy river with the life jackets. Love the soundtrack of the park throughout the day and the upgraded sun beds with personal lockers much recommended. Makes me want to go back so much 😢

Absolutely love this place. Florida theme parks used to be my best holidays ever but after stayin at land of legends in turkey this year I prefer that place, probably the best holiday I’ve ever had.

We were there last week! There is a third even smaller locker option at $14. We just stuck phones and wallets in one of them and left everything else at the sunbeds.

Charlotte, I am SO PROUD OF YOU!!! Just in the short time I've been following along, you have bravely conquered so many of your fears! Running through a waterfall that is gushing water down onto you nonstop, is no small feat! But then, actually getting on the water slide/coaster is something you yourself should be extremely proud of! I also love how encouraging and proud that Shawn is of you! I love Volcano Bay, visited April 2022 and was absolutely blown away by how amazing it was and the theming is great. I love the wrist bands you get so you don't have to queue for ages in the heat, this system is so good and helps when you have kids.

Yes, i agree the Fast Rivers here and at Aquatica are the best fun, plus at the one in Aquatica you can do either of wearing the life vest or not. Both ways are super fun.

Agree on how expensive Orlando is now. We were there in March and it’s just so expensive. We had a condo so could cook, I can’t imagine how much we would have spent if eating out . Still love it though 😀

I knew the wait would be long for the water coaster…..but 3 HOURS?!? They should’ve replicated it twice like some of the slides!! Maybe it’s too big to build a second one, but that’s a LONG WAIT!! (I would’ve guessed an hour!).

We went last May (2022) we got quoted $800 for a standard cabana for the day! Crazy expensive

We hated Volcano Bay when we went. It was very crowded, queues were far too long, a lot of messing about with that tapu tapu stuff, not a lot of shade and so much more that I can't think of. It may have changed in the 6 years since but wouldn't rush back. Much preferred Aquatica.

I stayed in the tower once. Amazing view but when they pressure wash the Waterpark at 2am it's very loud

Good video, Shawn and Charlotte! I hope you're having fun on your cruise! I am so happy for Charlotte pushing herself outside her comfort zone by running under the water fountains and riding the Krakatoa Aqua Coaster! By being on the autism spectrum, my biggest fear is meeting new people. I've had social anxiety a lot of my life. But I am working on it. However, I don't let my disability stand in my way.

Don’t underestimate the not so lazy river, we tried to get out on the exit part and the current took us around again 😂 it was good fun though and Volcano Bay is by far the best waterpark there in my opinion!

The £2 flip flops 😂😂😂😂 this is epic I knew they wouldn't last ha ha... ahh well u need a better pair lol. Place looks unreal. ❤

Charlotte you are smarter than me! I went in that fast river with my family. They loved it but i had a panic attack. I literally had to be carried out of it! Never again 😂

That waterpark looks awesome, even for me and i am not a good swimmer at all. The theming is absolutely fantastic. Its just a shame it's next to a busy motorway/freeway. Apart from that it looks brilliant, especially the lazy river with those water fountains that spray you as you go past. That was really funny. And the weather looks stunning. What more could you ask for. Fabulous.

Went here just a couple of months after it opened. It was too manic then with too many people in the park. Now it looks quite a bit better with niggles ironed out. I do like the Virtual queue system but still cannot understand why the queue times are so long. Anyway, my tip is to station base yourself very near the Taniwah tube riding slides, it is also close to the Aquacoaster and 2 rivers.

Love Volcano Bay. Like others we’ve worked out we don’tt need a locker. Linking a credit card with the entrance ticket means a tapu tapu is all you need. Saves money, saves time. We get in early, throw the bags on a lounger and heads towards the volcano short cut to the coaster. In July we had 4 rides on the coaster in the first 40 minutes.

Early entry to Volcano Bay is fabulous. We stayed at Aventura, so only a five minute walk, and were first in line for opening. We managed 15 rides before 10am including Krakatau twice in succession with no wait.

Fab video 👌🏻 I don't like water on my face either, makes me feel 🤢. I also love the theme of the hotel, it's vibrant and stylish. This video would be great to watch on a grey day in the UK 🎉

I've worn those type of flip flops Shawn and same thing happens to mine. But...good thing about them is you can tuck them into your Swim Shorts at the top...half in half out....on some of the water rides . I've done this in the past. Also if you have tieable cord...you could tie them onto your shorts as well.
