Universal Orlando's Mardi Gras 2022 celebration has begun! Join us for opening night where we show you around, try some of the new food options including the new Ube Bubble Waffle and other fun treats, using the new food & beverage card being offered. We see dancing in the streets, explore the new Mardi Gras Tribute Store, and see the FULL PARADE with this year's new space theme, Planet Mardi Gras! It's aliens and kitschy outer space theme and of course we catch tons of beads! All around lots of fun as we explore this year's Mardi Gras offerings that are louder, wilder & spicier! Omggggggg!!!! The music at the beginning setting the mood!!!! Yayyyyyyyy Jackie and Sammmm!! As a Universal fan I want to thank you for being knowledgeable about all parks in the Orlando area. Sometimes it feels like some of the Disney Vloggers be slick dissing Universal and it’s not cool at all. Glad you show love to everyone and you are always so positive and honest! @@SuperEnthused Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) means origin started here in France 🇫🇷. Then spread out over to Louisiana, New Orleans. My favorite pastry is "la Galette" which means the King's cake

Wow! The parade was so much fun! Loved watching you and Sam catching beads! You both were having such a fantastic time! Tribute Store was cool with all the history and throwbacks to former stores and theming. Never! Been to New Orleans soooo many times and love it, but never during actual Mardi Gras. Maybe one day but I’d have to know someone who could steer me in the right direction haha. Seems overwhelming!

Sure…,I will take you…..it will be like New Years Eve….lasting almost 12 hours. Our hotel was on Bourbon street, 5th floor, over looking the street. They gave us ear plugs when we checked in. People were still partying at 4:30am. We were across the guy who had a sign, “Show me your *** for beads”. Actually, we are talking about going again…..but after the crazy party…..my wife really doesn’t like big crowds.

Ube is from the Philippines. Purple yam/sweet potato. Its also used to make purple colored cake.
