I can't help but cringe at some of their Harry Potter knowledge lol. I'm just too big of a fan to not be bothered when people get things wrong, even though I know not everyone read the books over and over again from age 4 to age 17 and thus don't know everything about it hahah. It's ok not to know it all, it still just makes me cringe.

Just wanted to offer a tip to Avia and parents, it's a better idea to get her ears pierced at a professional tattoo/body piercing shop where they use a needle instead of a gun because it's less trauma to the ear, less painful after and the recovery time is shorter. Also professional body pierces have lots of experience where as places like Claire's or other little shops in the middle of the mall hire people with little to no experience with body piercing. You really don't have to take my word for it , you can research it for yourself. Congrats Avia for reaching this milestone that you have been waiting for and have a Happy Birthday!

I o not think most people take into consideration that your kids are working while you are at these meet ups! These are not lazy kids...they are busy all of the time. My daughter is 11 later this year and I'm seeing the same changes in Avia - less childlike, more responsible, less about parks and more about just chilling. It's fun watching them grow up but bittersweet!

My daughter used to beg to have her ears done and ended up getting it done at 7 years old...But she was such a wimp about the pain that half way through she tried to leave with just one done!!! Lol!! We talked her into finishing and now she has quite the collection of earings and she is 17!! I hope Avia is ready for the pain and that she takes good care of them...then they will last a lifetime, like mine!! Lol!! xxx
