Strategic Analysis Australia Director Michael Shoebridge says universities should threaten suspension for students who chant “hate-filled slogans”.
Mr Shoebridge’s remarks come as pro-Palestine protests continue to rage across university campuses.
“You get punished for wrong gender language on a lot of these campuses,” he told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“Rather than sending the police in and kind of stoking violence there … universities can suspend students.
“Universities can stop students from graduating - if they’re using these hate-filled slogans, that’s what universities should be made to do.”
