Anjie xx I would say the social life is definitely what you make it! If you do your best to go out, attend events etc, it’ll be good but if you just stay at home, it won’t be. So definitely socialise! Doesn’t have to be parties, even going to the cinema or going food shopping with your friends is something. And it wasn’t that hard for me because I met a couple people through the uni whatsapp chats. It was hard for me to get used to a whole group of new people though. Hope this helped x

Yes you can but most people live at uni accommodations for first year. Now I’m going into second year I’ll be living in a house with friends

Yeah, you don’t HAVE to live in a house! Personally renting an apartment is a lot more expensive in the long run so I would recommend living in a house, but you do you hun

Nadine Adusei I definitely don’t regret being there at all. I met my friends through living there. It’s generally a good accommodation. Reception are really nice and rooms are a decent size. If you have any problems, they usually fix them ASAP. I will say it is a little bit over priced though. They have free washing and drying which was a life saver (but I think they may be stopping that), gave out free food/treats for special events like Valentine’s Day and pancake day. Overall I would recommend. I don’t have too much bad things to say. I will do a video where I go more in detail. I also recommend Battery Park or metalworks (if it’s in your budget) xx

Is it cheaper to live in uni accommodations or outside uni accommodations?

It really depends on the uni and accommodation. It’s generally cheaper in second year when you get a house with friends compared the student accom though
