Quirky match, but enjoyed watching it. Paxo seems to have enjoyed hosting as well. Edit: Forgot to add, the questions were incredibly easy by University Challenge standards.
Satire4977273. Ha ha ha ha! You took the words right out of my mouth! Don't these contestants know their f***ing surnames?! This was the worst set of introductions to date! UC must surely now bring in a rule which disqualifies immediately contestants who only give their first names during introductions! Click 'like' if you agree ha ha!
@@durhamharmonics2363 Oh hello Durham Harmonics. So you came back? Pity. Because you missed multiple first name intros like Strathclyde and Durham and Sidney Sussex.
Adam Walker. Durham Harmonics has never gone away! It has noted with disgust the first name intros by all those teams and longs for the halcion days of UC S44E09 when Al Masri (Leicester) said his name in full and completely cocked it up ha ha ha ha!
@@durhamharmonics2363 Oh yeah? Well it was in Series 44 where the first name trend started. With Trinity College, Cambridge period for the whole series then Gonville and Caius College Cambridge starting from their second quarter final.
Adam Walker. Thanks for the info! I wondered when this stupid trend of first name introductions started! Everytime someone does it I find myself shouting "F***ing idiot!" at the TV - and I'm not even bloody joking! I reckon a team should be penalised 10 points for every 1st name intro, similar to the 5 point penalty for incorrect interruptions ha ha ha ha! On the other hand, Al Masri S44E09 (Leicester) should've been given 50 bonus points for saying his name in full and completely cocking it up on national TV!
Issokson's mannerisms are so annoying. As if she's constantly assuming the cameras might be on her that very second, so she overdoes her reactions and facial expressions "just in case".
I don't understand why people wear lipstick at the best of times, but... green lipstick?! This programme is called University Challenge, not the bloody Wizard of Oz!
