Fan Yang joined the Psychology Department in 2020 as a Research Assistant Professor, and she directs the Human Nature and Potentials Lab (voices.uchicag.... Fan's research program focuses on our capacities to devote to things larger than the self, in relation to fundamental questions in life such as happiness and meaning.
